Anyone know who to believe. The label says 6g total carbs for the bar. 7g fiber and 19g sugars. 290 cal and 23g fat 5g protein. The barcode brings up the crunch version in the app that is 32g of carbs. if I search for the real name I still get a 20+ carn count. So what do I believe?? Can the company get away with such a wide discrepancy??

Re-check the serving portions in both online app and on the bar. How many grams is a whole bar? Is it UK - if it is then the 6g carb is Net and the 7 g fibre has already been taken into account. Crunch version of bars will always have crispy pieces which are most often wheat/rice/corn - high in carbs. 19g + 7g + 6(starch?)g = 32g so it seems that the app only gives the total while the bar breaks it down. Either way, sounds pretty high. You might try a 70% or better yet higher 90% Lindt bar. (and restrict yourself to a 35g regular serving of chocolate? Easier said than done, I know) ;)

I don't eat much chocolate but a quick Google search indicated others have questioned carbs/fiber/sugar on the label of that particular bar.

MFP has oodles of 70% cocoa bars. I'd find one that seems average and has nutrition in grams. Chocolate bars vary greatly in serving size/pieces. Since you can't trust the label determine an average and trust a food scale.

Never seen it and can't find the label online. Does it have sugar alcohols in it?
