Ok, I'll get the ball rolling. My Dr. says I have Type-2 diabetes and told me to take 4 Metformin and 4 Glipizides a day to control my blood sugar. Without taking them my blood sugar would climb to the 350 range right after eating.
I am 55 and the last thing I wanted to do at my age is have to start taking pills on a daily basis. SO I am attempting to lose a lot of weight to decrease my dependence on the meds. I am 6'-0 215 lbs and have set a short term goal of getting down to 200.
I am currently ignoring my Dr's advice and only taking 2 Metformin's a day.
