Type 2
Ok, I'll get the ball rolling. My Dr. says I have Type-2 diabetes and told me to take 4 Metformin and 4 Glipizides a day to control my blood sugar. Without taking them my blood sugar would climb to the 350 range right after eating. I am 55 and the last thing I wanted to do at my age is have to start taking pills on a daily…

Hello new to the group
Hey Y'all I just joined group and looking for people who k ow the struggle of diabetes but wanting to nip it in the butt, I have cut out potatoes, breads and pasta completely and just added in more fresh low carb veggies and berries, can't do normal fruits like most can, due to them spiking my glucose levels high, also…

The weird thing is my blood sugar became elevated sometime between my last two physicals in early…

Meaning they only eat during certain hours (12-8). Does anyone know someone with type II that has done this? My blood sugar…
Pre-diabetes
I have been pre-diabetic for several years now. I had a real scare a few years ago when I developed pancreatitis due to a gallstone plugging the pancreatic duct. I recovered but one of the adverse reactions from my issue is developing full blown diabetes. Fortunately all was resolved and I went back to being pre-diabetic.…
