Running is tough but it feels good once I'm done. I'm normally not a person who sweats, but holy moly I can definitely tell I'm pushing myself because I'm sweaty when I'm done. I'm still also doing weights.
I hope everyone had a good weekend!

Wow! Way to go Kelly :) Steps galore too!

I had a good weekend, worked out one day. Had my trainer today for weights. Yikes. She worked me today! Now, if I can just get my eating more inline . . .

See you Wed for weigh in.

    Hello ladies!!!

My quick trip to Cali was great. Got to see old friends from high school (and a couple of wacky ones with weird memories). Celebrated my BFFs 55th bday and had a great time. Hubby got pulled over after leaving the venue, however, we have a tail light not working and hubby cut off someone thinking they had a red light. NO TICKET!! WHEW!! Made our way to the Denny's around the corner where we met our friends again for a quieter chat. Left Mom's on time on Sunday, visited my old neighbors where I grew up two blocks over and just LOVE LOVE LOVE seeing them. The newest owners of my old house was giving me weird looks as we went between two houses. I told him I grew up in that house and I'm not sure he believed me. We thought we were missing one set of neighbors and I had left a note on their door. They pulled in right as I was starting our car to leave! So so happy. They are almost 90 and I just love to see them. Rich, my old neighbor, told the new guy that I grew up in the house, hubby says he then offered to allow us to go in and check it out if we want. Yeah, no thanks because I have special memories that I don't want to lose with a new look. Oh and my neighbor left her purse at her daughters house with the house key - hahaha...hubby had to crawl in a back window to open their house. Rich asked him if it brought back memories from when he used to do that next door. too funny.

Any way, we had a super long drive home. Kelly - I have no idea how you travel 6 hours each direction every week or so. We are exhausted. I failed to weigh in this morning and I've taken a vacation day. SO SO SO glad I did. I will update weight tomorrow as I did start my trial for the Peloton app and jumped on the bike before showering etc. My wifi upstairs stinks for the apple TV. Going to hit Costco this afternoon to pick up an extender and see if that helps. The class was 80's music easy ride. Pretty cool when I used cell data. More to follow.

Grocery shopping after lunch with hubby and start some meal prep fro the week. Have a great week everyone!

Lois - It's 8 hours (sometimes 9 depending on who I have to pick up for my carpool) each way/week on a good day for me. It definitely takes a toll on my body and mind. Not sure I can do it much longer. I think in the new year, once we're settled into our new house and we see what our finances are like, I may look for a job at home. It will be a $30k pay cut, but it'll be worth it to be home all the time. It sounds like you had a fun trip! I just saw your post on FB. Great job with the Peloton!

See you Thursday for my weigh in.

Darn. Just got my post written, and poof, it was gone! Oh well. Here's the quick recap.

    LW: 141.8
    TW: 142.4

I had expected to at least stay steady. My average daily calories were 1344 and my average net daily calories were 941. I also did a little better with fat and sugar, staying under goal with those for 5 of the 7 days. But--there it is. Sometimes I wonder if the effort to log and to move when I am just too tired is worth it (last night I was on the TM again at 11 p.m. because I had some personal business things to deal with after work). But like I've said many times, who knows what I might weigh now if it were not for Bodybugg/Fitbit, MFP, and most of all, your support. So I will push on. :) Will come back later to chat. That lost post cost me the time I had for now.

I thought I did better than that :| but I'll take it.

Lois, what a fun weekend visit. I'm glad you did it, and glad you took a vacay day. Let go of some of the stress.

Sarah, I can't believe you didn't lose with that low of calories! As you say, push on, and I'll bet the pounds will drop all at once. That's how it goes sometimes.

Kelly, I don't know what the economy is like in Canada, but where I live it's an employees market right now. . more jobs than people to fill them. If that's the case where you live, it will really help you find a new job, and it might not be as big a pay cut as you imagine. Good luck.

I've been busy catching up since Cali. Being gone over 3 weeks really puts everyday things so behind. Hair apt tomorrow, and finally going out with my friends to catch up with them. :)

Hi ladies--checked the message board after logging food for Friday night and yesterday and was surprised to see that there are no new posts. I don't like logging food the next day because I'm more likely to forget something, but I had to work until 7:30 Friday night, and then we had to get things ready for yesterday's march. So I walked not all on Friday. I literally played beat the clock all day to finish some reports that are due the last Friday of the month, and then we had to quickly eat and run out to the grocery store. I had hoped to be in bed by 10 but it was closer to 11 when that happened. Then we were up at 5:30 a.m. yesterday so we could pick up a friend with our signs and get to the mall to meet the other marchers at 7:30.

The march was great and I got a lot of steps but we did have one member of our group take a bad fall on the metro stairs on the way home, and we still have not heard how she is. Her hubby took her to the ER once we got back to our home turf.

Well, it's time to get out and get the weekend errands done. I hope all is well with everyone and that you're enjoying the weekend.
