Do you think that you could have gotten to 600 pounds?

I really don't think I could have ever gotten to that weight. When I see the quantity of some of the foods the people on that show eat, I realize that I would have gotten really sick if I ate that much.

It's just so sad to see people who are completely bed-ridden because of their weight. I was surprised that the guys in the most recent episode were NOT bed-ridden. They were still able to be up and moving around -- one of them even still worked (the one who weighed 500+ pounds).

But did anyone else notice that the entire family was also overweight?

Yes, I noticed that as well. These guys were both in their 30's though, so the 500+ guy still had youth on his side.

    Wow--can't imagine. Really.

By the time I said "uncle" at 242, I'd had enough and knew I had to change. However, I've come to appreciate more and more that I never know what's going on in someone else's head or life that is contributing to their situation. I'm glad for that. I think I have a little more understanding and compassion about it now.

    So do I, Kim.
