Happy Easter!
Yes x 3 for today, eeked by with 30 min walk.
I really appreciate and enjoy Craigo's goals, and in that spirit I have my own for April. Never have been specific or posted publically in UAC so maybe this will help!
I'm in a plateu at the moment. Was loosing steadily all year until March hit. I've read about them on other MFP user accounts and of course have experienced them myself...but have never pushed hard enough through them to see change. I'm pretty active and usually stay within calories but there's lots of room for improvement.
My plans to get through the plateu:
1) I do three days a week of a more strength focused boot camp. I avoid the two cardio boot camps cause they are SO INTENSE. I'm gonna switch it up and start attending!
2) just because you're in calorie limit doesn't mean you've hit proper nutrition. This is the biggest area I think I can improve. Need more protein for sure, and better quality overall.8 -

@craigo3154 and @molly3210 Tomorrow, I am going to post new goals. I've been ok with my status for a long time, I'm going to be accountable for a change.
Today:
Calories: one of the best things about a holiday buffet is that I can choose grilled fish and shrimp. Easy to stay way under my daily limit
Exercise: holiday exercise is a minimal 20 minute stroll
Tracking: good5 -

Exercised?: Yes. Walk 4km in 30 mins (mostly flat)
Calories?: Yes
Tracked?: Yes
Lunch at parents ( 90 min drive each way). Too much food on offer, but stayed in budget.
Helped hang sisters new clothes drier on wall.
Tired now. Monthly goals and more in the morning.
Congratulations to all who made the Winners circle in March. Any month is a hard month to keep consistency.
Congratulations too to all who kept going in March, even after the fourth pass day. This is really what UAC is about.
Each month I post my goals for the month. It helps keep me focused. They are often the same month to month, but it is what I aspire to maintain.
Personal goals for April:- Be in winners circle (track everything, keep under budget, 20+ mins exercise per day, no more than 3 pass days).
- Stay between 64kg and 70kg (full maintenance maintenance trying not to go too low but allow it to bounce up a bit too. 70kg is still well inside the normal BMI range for me.).
- Stay honest (even if it puts me out of the circle for the month) and continue past failings (forgive mistakes and keep moving forward).
- Encourage others where possible.
Wishing best of success to everyone.
