Me. vs the Binge -- April 2018 Challenge

Well this challenge is a challenge with yourself. The challenge is for you to win in the fight against "The Binge". Many of us struggle with binging and a few of us have found that making "The Binge" a person has helped us fight the emotions or urge to binge.
The objective of the challenge is to have more days for you (Me) than the "The Binge".
When you have a day you do not succumb to binge urges or binge give yourself (ME) a point. When you give in to the urge to binge you give 'The Binge" a point. No beating yourself up about it because tomorrow is another day. Honesty with yourself is crucial for it to help you and others.
So we keep score with ourselves the whole month. We encourage each other along the way. Please feel free to share your ups, downs, successes, struggles, etc. You will find you are not alone. See below for format. Feel free to use it or use your own format. This Challenge keeps you mindful of binging and the daily support and accountability helps also.
Check in often. The more you check and share the better you will do for the month. So are you in? You are stronger than “The Binge.” One day at a time.

ROUGH, ROUGH, ROUGH night. I always struggle significantly with wanting to binge during one day of my fertile week and one day of my period. Last night was that night for the former. Hormones suck. I had to really white knuckle through it for a few hours before the feeling passed.4 -

Closing in on that 150 DBF goal I set, and I am very happy. Unfortunately the 2+ weeks it will take to get there also happen to be the busiest weeks of the semester AND my period will be here as well. Hoping to stay strong and persevere!1 -

I heard some pretty bad news about my mom's health last night and my emotions are all over the place. I haven't turn to food yet, but I am worried about this weekend. Food has been my coping mechanism for so long.3 -

@Llamapants86 - Also sending all the hugs and strength. Just know, that even if you take a step back, you can take comfort in the knowledge you can easily achieve again what you have today...BECAUSE YOU'VE DONE IT BEFORE...
It's so hard, and I agree, food is always my coping technique, too. Tired? Stressed? Sad? Mad? Angry? etc...

My will power hung out until Sunday, then I just cracked. I am trying to not be too hard on myself. I know that breaking out of my binging is going to take time. This is just a set back, not a reason to give up.3 -
@Llamapants86 a week is NOTHING to sneeze at. There were several years when I couldn't make it more than a couple of days. You've got this, and you have a great attitude to boot!

I read here all the time, but I don't post here as often, because tracking like this is a trigger for me...but I just wanted to say, you inspire me. Even though you struggle, you keep as positive as you can...
Sometimes for me, it was as much as multiple times a day, I couldn't stop myself from something...
Not it's far less, but that voice is still there in the back of my head. Some days I don't hear it anymore, and some days it's like one of those PTSD/torture experiments where they blare rock music so loud to keep you from sleeping, etc.
So keep on, because those of us staying silent still watch and get empowered by those strong enough to post the struggle here, to update your ticker... (hugs)2 -
@Llamapants86 keep on trucking along. I know things are really hard, and even though this is a small group, I am sure everyone is here to help and support you.
