This month I AM turning over a new leaf, I will be exercising more regularly, my plan is 3 days running 2 days some beachbody program. I am also going to eat more healthy and not give into cravings so easily.....starting tomorrow I’m not sure what I weigh, will weigh in in the morning and then decide my goal for April.
Good luck to all of you lovely ladies who will be joining, sorry I don’t post very often in here, am a mammy to 2 little girls and I work full time, so I don’t get lots of free time, but I do try and follow all of your progress5 -

I've been losing weight for a bit now, but gained back 7 ish pounds in the last 5 to 6 months. Insidious gains. Im going to make an excel sheet and try to track and be as accurate as possible this month to get back on track. They always say, the last 10 Are the worst.
Doesn't help that My work takes me away and makes me eat at a cafeteria!

Thank you for the new thread! As of yesterday, I was down to 141 but I'm back up a pound today so it'll even out sometime this week. I'm almost back to my pre-baby weight. We will be heading to Costa Rica in 5 weeks so I'm hoping to make some decent progress before then so I can feel better about the mombod in a bathing suit. I've been lifting every other day and doing well with sticking to that. My youngest and last baby is turning one this month

After hitting last month's goal, I'm super excited to have a bit of a headstart into this month's! Kind of nervous about this month though as it'll hopefully be the month I transition to maintenance and switch goals to lower bodyfat compared to loss on the scale instead. Since I'm so close I KNOW I need to buckle down on getting my scheduled workouts in, as last month I skipped a few days.

March was hard on me but you can't look back, only forward. My fitbit is charged and on, we meal prepped yesterday, I pre-logged today's food, and I started the day with a run! Time to show April who's boss!

Hello! I’m new to this group, but need some accountability help! As someone above said, I spent most of March on an inadvertent “dirty bulk” lol. I have a few trips coming up in the next 6 months and I really want to lean out for them.

I kind of took a week off last week due to traveling for Easter. I Ate like crap the whole weekend(worth it) , and I'm ready to get back on it! My husband and I are planning to start Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred this week or next week. We are dog sitting, so it kind of depends on the logistics of trying to work out with 3 labs hopping about & trying to "help" !

Good week! Despite the lack of exercise (I was baking a big cake at the weekend so in fairness on my feet a lot) and the Easter chocolate (I may have eaten two 200gr Lindt bunnies…) I have done well this week! In fact, Fri-Mon I didn’t log at all but was aware of my food intake. Was back in the gym yesterday and, despite everything feeling a bit tough, it was nice to lift some weights again. My wrist has settled down a bit too. It’s not better, but it isn’t as painful as it was last week.3 -

@Tryingtogetfitdeb Exercise helps! I’d recommend weights for fat loss though. Programs are just a money making scheme in my opinion.
@melluc2 The last stretch is the worst. It’s so easy to plateau at this stage!
@DomesticKat Sounds like you’ve made fab progress already, what with being so close to your pre-baby weight!

MWF a couch to 10K
Elliptical/circuit training at the gym on the alternate days.
Power Yoga and an abs program every day.
Diet is just staying under my calories with good food choices.
The goal at the end of my plan is to fit my clothes comfortably again and look great in a dress for a ceremony I’ll be part of at the end of June. I also told my friend I’d do a fun run race with her.2 -
Sounds good! Do you intend to continue the exercise regime once you get to goal?
I tried fitness yoga once (looking at power yoga it's pretty much the same thing) and practically died! I'm very inflexible so kept falling over. Also sweated like a pig in a sausage factory!1 -
Yes. I did most of this stuff already, just sporadically because I didn’t have a plan. Of course I didn’t make any progress that way. I’m determined to work a maintenance plan afterwards this time.2

Hello, place holding new thread until the weekend. I've decided to join weight watchers. I just don't think i can stick to anything without a weekly weigh in with a club. I went before for around month and it worked well but then I got sidetracked and stopped going because i either gained or stayed the same and felt ashamed . I think what struck me most was how slim some of the women were , must work for a lot of people. Anyway I start on Saturday so will weigh in then , several important events coming up , one end of May one Mid August as further motivation.1

So the beachbody programs I do incorporate dumbbells, I can’t get to the gym so this is all I can use, plus body weight resistance, and resistance loops, they definitely help with toning and as I will be consistent, I’ll be buying heavier dumbbells.
My target this month is going to be 62kg.2 -

This is my first ever post and I would love a little more motivation/accountability. I started to try and lose weight in Jan and did pretty good but fell off the wagon badly last week with a major over indulgence of milk chocolate thanks to the Easter Bunny. Getting back on this week with giving up sugar cold turkey however I am on day 3 of that and its starting to get hard. Ideally I would like to do it for at least 30 days as its my biggest issue. I would love suggestions if anyone has any

Hi everyone! My name is Nikki and I’m new to the group. I’ve used MFP off and on for the past 5 years, but I haven’t taken advantage of the groups in the past. As you can see, I’m coming off of my heaviest weight and I feel like I need a little more support to stick with it this time around.
I usually fluctuate in the lower to mid 150s, but I’ve let myself go. I have always been happy with my weight around 150, so I’m hoping to get back to that in the next few months! Thanks for sharing your stories!!3 -

Well I was right. On Monday work ended up not buying us dinner but they kept us there til 8:30 so I ate what was in the break room: cake and chocolate. Then on Tuesday they bought us dinner. I got a cheeseburger and yesterday they brought in bagels. Plus all the chocolate was still sitting around! I'm sure it's just a small temporary gain but I'm hoping it doesn't put my month goal weight out of reach.
