I'm sorry if this type of thread has been created before. I didn't see much with the search function for this group. I am perusing the Recipe Swap Group as well.

I started Keto a month ago. So, I'm at "the newness is wearing off" stage. Now, I'm looking for flavorful recipes to cook - primarily for dinner/supper. We are not eating bread, pasta, potatoes, sugary fruits or rice -- all the things that were daily staples of my life before I started Keto.

While I realize there are several websites with keto recipes, I would like a more personal touch -- from people who are actually eating what they cook, not just throwing out recipes on the Internet.

PLEASE share your best ketogenic recipes with me - including nutritional information, if you have it!

I’ve made a lot of the recipes off of the ruled.me website, the IBIH website and keto connect. Those are my go tos. I don’t think any of those are just throwing out recipes. Check them out. You might be surprised. Craig on ruled.me has a spicier pallet. iBIH is more comfort food. I’d copy and paste for you, but then that would just be silly when you can browse them yourself lol

Keto cheese sauce! I know, not a meal but it's such a good additional to a meal, and nice and high in fat.

    15g grated cheese
    1 tbsp. cream
    8g butter
    15g cream cheese

Stir cream and butter together over a low heat. Add cream cheese and combine.
Remove from heat and stir in cheese. The end!

Depending on your cream cheese you may need a little more cream. I've tried two different brands and the second came out a lot thicker. Was still tasty though :P

Hi  I'm a long time watcher, first time poster but anyhoo, here goes:

    https://ketodietapp.com/Blog/post/2018/01/10/keto-bacon-cheeseburger-casserole

    Nutritional values (per serving)
    Total Carbs 8.3 grams
    Fiber 2.4 grams
    Net Carbs 6 grams
    Protein 34.7 grams
    Fat 58.3 grams

I work shifts, so tend to make a couple of these type one dish affairs at the beginning of the week and then alternate between them, usually served with spring greens sauteed in butter or kale which I massage (yup) with olive oil then bake for 10 minutes.

Links to some of my tried and true favorites! I think all the recipes have nutritional info posted.

https://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/cauliflower-mac-and-cheese-casserole-recipe-2013849 (This also works as a full meal adding in leftover baked ham!)

https://www.thecountrycook.net/crock-pot-mississippi-pot-roast/ Delicious over top of mashed cauliflower! We are hard pressed to eat a roast done any other way now! We add extra peperoncini

https://peaceloveandlowcarb.com/pork-egg-roll-in-a-bowl-crack-slaw-paleo-low-carb-whole30/ Many versions of crackslaw out there! We also enjoy just sauteed cabbage and bacon as a bed for buffalo chicken or pork carnita!

https://www.ruled.me/buffalo-chicken-jalapeno-popper-casserole/ This is amazingly good. I don't make it often because I always overeat and the carb eaters in my family do too and they shouldn't be!

When you just really need a toasted bacon sandwich lol https://lowcarbyum.com/low-carb-soul-bread-review/ I'm not a fan of the "original" fresh (using NOW whey isolate), but it makes pretty decent toast. I have not experimented with the many variations.

I make more of a savory version by eliminating cinnamon and sugar, adding in some granulated garlic... I make the recipe into two larger sized ones to use as crepes/wraps. Especially delicious rolled around some bacon, asparagus and goat cheese. https://www.ibreatheimhungry.com/cream-cheese-pancakes/

Oh, and a second enthusiastic vote for the Mississippi Roast and Egg-Roll-In-A-Bowl, too!

Soul bread was okay for me (I messed up a recipe...LOL)...

Burger in a bowl works, too, with a patty or ground meat.

Probably my favorite meal I made, aside from taco meat for ALL THE TACO SALADS IN A BOWL...was a knock-off of Zuppa Toscana soup from The Olive Garden. I even went back and tried theirs later, and mine was way better - spicier, more flavorful, and more decadent...

I have all the modifications posted on my blog here.

Let me know if you want me to post the details here...

Oh, and homemade alfredo sauce is something to learn to make. The dash of nutmeg is crucial. In fact when I've gotten storebought sauce, and it was missing something, I added a little nutmeg, and it was TONS better instantly. That, with some chicken or shrimp, and spaghetti squash or zucchini noodles (personally, I like the SS with cheese sauces and the Zoodles with red sauces), and it's heavenly... Heck, just the sauce on it's own is awesome...

We love making keto tacos. I'm going to leave the macro's and such off because I'm sure everyone makes their taco's with different meats, veggies and spices. I just thought I'd post what we do for the shells!

    Oven at 425F or 218C

56g of shredded Cheddar Cheese per shell
    Taco seasoning (Optional)

Use a small bowl or saucer to draw circles on the Parchment paper. Turn the paper over and place on baking sheet.

In another bowl weigh out the cheese and mix in the taco seasoning, if you are using it, then spread inside the circles on the parchment.

Bake in the oven for approximately 11 minutes. (Oven's vary so keep a watchful eye as they must be just pliable.)

While the cheese is melting over a bowl or 2 similar sized objects place 2 wood spoons or something in which you will be able to drape the cheese rounds over. This creates the taco shape.

Remove them from the oven. Allow them to cool for up to 3 minutes then pick them up and drape them over the spoons to create the taco shape allowing them to cool fully:

Keep in mind these taco shells will "leak" because they are full of holes so I like to place a lettuce leaf on the inside to keep all the juices inside. Other wise enjoy!

anything from The Diet Doctor Website you can specify Keto or Low Carb I especially love the Keto Almond bread, easy peasy to make and it freezes and it's delicious as it has only almond flour and no coconut flour in it and I really don't like sweet tasting breads. I make it into 20g buns/rolls I think I probably have one most days for lunch with cold meat and salad and mayo yum yum when's lunch..............

I discovered Fathead Pizza dough this weekend. You can make pizza, crackers, etc from it - and truly, this is something I would eat and enjoy keto or no keto. Super easy (roll it between two sheets of parchment paper and work pretty quickly....)
    fathead-movie.com/index.php/2013/06/30/weekend-bonus-the-older-brothers-oldest-sons-faux-carb-pizza/

I made a Tarte D'Alsace - Fathead Pizza crust covered in a thin layer of creme fraiche, then smoked ham, gruyere, and just a touch of caramelized onions (careful with those - the carbs add up pretty quickly). Let it sit to almost room temperature before slicing and eating - the creme fraiche needs to set up a tiny bit.

Keto Diet App has some great recipes. Just tried Keto French Toast Mug today and it was fantastic, and also love his chicken enchilada soup. I have the book Perfect Keto and every recipe in it is delish—just a bit high cal for me for every day. FitMenCook.com has amazing recipes that work for keto, like his high protein summer chicken salad.
