                    Hi everyone  I'm Vashti; kinda new to MFP. I have been promising myself I'd lose some weight for YEARS, and then after a significant injury I gained weight quickly (meds and almost no activity...). So now I'm back at the gym and loving it. I used to do crossfit and hope I might get back to it again one day. For now working on good form and rebuilding a solid foundation.

I'm from Newfoundland Canada originally, and just moved back here. I lived in Toronto for a few decades, and it's a big change moving home to a small place where there isn't a lot of cultural diversity. I am most used to and comfortable in spaces where there's a lot of diversity - of all kinds, gender, culture, ethnicity, ability... And so it's really nice to find a community here where women from all around the world, and from really diverse backgrounds can come together. I so grateful that this space exists!
