Hey everyone, quick question. As we lose weight our BMR changes, lowering the amount of calories overall we should eat in a day. My question is how often has everyone been adjusting for BMR and TDEE changes? It seems like there could be a little leeway here so I am just hoping to get some feedback since many of you have been doing this much longer than me. Thanks!

MFP auto-adjusts (or asks anyway) after you log 10 lb loss, because until then the change in calories is less than the inaccuracy allowed on food labels.
For instance - 40 yr female 5'8" @ 150 lbs - above sedentary counting nights/weekends and walks 45 min x 5 weekly.
TDEE - 2066
Drop 5 lbs:
TDEE - 2032
Drop another 5:
TDEE - 1999
A whole 67 calories for 10 lbs. Not much.
Your TDEE is going to literally be different by that much weekly, never mind seasonally with bigger swings.
Then again - you overeat your TDEE by 67 calories every day of the year - 7 lbs fat gained.1
