In the weekly Warrior Mini-Goal Challenge focus on your "short term goals"

Focusing on one week at a time, when the big picture seems too overwhelming. Small changes can bring on big results!!

Choose one or more things you want to work on for just this week. Don't set it too high or unreachable!!

Please, make sure your week works for you. Sun to Sat or Mon to Sun, whatever is YOUR week!

You can reach your main goal if you break it into small actionable steps. It could be as easy as 1-2-3!

1) Choose something you know you can do easily.

2) Add more difficult tasks to your plan.

3) These small steps will get you started, motivated & help build routine for long term success!!

Anyone interested in joining us for another week, or a first week, or a get back on track week?

Check in often, have a great week and do the best you can! :)

    As of Monday:
    1) Physical Activity 5x: 0/5
    2) 3 servings (300g) of veggies - 1/7
    3) At least 70g protein - 1/7
    4) 2L water - 1/7
    5) Eat *about* 1700 calories - 1/7
    6) No added sugar - 1/7

I planned to go to yoga today but I didn't realize they closed a half day for the holiday. Really must exercise tomorrow.

Still hungry! I upped my calories and I haven't been exercising much but I'm still hungry. I'm getting plenty of healthy fats and fiber, enough protein, eating bulky veggies but I'm hungrier than I was when I was eating 1300 calories, which I did for months. MFP wants me to be down around 1450 but I can't imagine right now. That said, I really want to see just another HALF a pound gone by this weekend to meet my goal in time for this wedding I'm going to.

I have the whole week off! I took a week's vacation from work just for kicks. This means I have to watch what I'm eating because my boyfriend is definitely going to talk me into going out to eat several times. That half pound might be tough.

@forestrose910 Sorry you've been having problems with your ipad. So frustrating when tech fails us.

@IsMollyReallyHungry Thank for starting the group! Have a great week!

Thanks you too Sweetie! Sorry to hear you are still hungry. If you are maintaining your weight then maybe you are at a sweet point or a good weight for your frame  Just keep eating healthy so you don't gain weight and you will get a happy medium.

    As of Tuesday:
    1) Physical Activity 5x: 1/5
    2) 3 servings (300g) of veggies - 2/7
    3) At least 70g protein - 2/7
    4) 2L water - 2/7
    5) Eat *about* 1700 calories - 2/7 (net Tu)
    6) No added sugar - 2/7

I got to my weight goal today. I'm stoked! At the same time, my body isn't where I hoped it would be when I got here and I still have work to do. I'm going to try to lose another 10 lbs, but I'm in no hurry. More importantly, I know I need to build muscle. I wouldn't mind staying at this weight if I can get down to a lower bodyfat % but I think for my frame I do need to lose a bit more. Still, it feels good to hit a goal I set a very long time ago and I don't want to just keep moving the goal post.

@IsMollyReallyHungry I wouldn't say I'm at maintenance yet, really. I'll have to experiment with the amount of food I'm eating tho. Looks like you are getting right back into WW. Where does the "blue dot" show - is it an app as well?

@forestrose910 and @clicketykeys Hope it's all going great.

Happy Wednesday, All!! This week is going fast.

Molly- I hope your week is going well. You have picked great goals and I know that WW is helping you get back on track. good progress so far with your goals. keep it going. take care of yourself and make as many smart decisions as you can. Remember practice not perfection.

cjsacto- CONGRATULATIONS!! on getting to your goal weight today. I hear you about not being totally happy with where you are. You can take time to assess and then move forward and adjust. Great job with your goals this week.

cjsacto- I wanted to respond to your feeling hungry thing. such a difficult thing. when I have been in that position and have stayed at a higher level of calories, it is tough to reduce the calories. I am sure you are fine to just stay there for a little while and let your body adjust. One thing that has worked for me is to take a day(or two) and try to eat far below your calorie goal (maybe 1,000 or so). then when you increase it to 1400 or 1500 you might not feel so hungry. You should be very proud of what you have accomplished. You will figure it out.

clicketykeys- how is it going for you and how is your injury doing? take care and have a great week.

    2. food in green - 2/7
    3. workout 3 times 1/3

Hello Fellow Warriors. Have a great weekend.

    Goals- as of Thursday
    1. Steps over 5,000 - 4/7
    2. food in green - 4/7
    3. workout 3 times 2/3

I will be increasing my step goal for next week. debating whether to do 5,500 or 6,000. I think I will do 6,000. I did have 2 days this week where I was closer to 5,000 than 6,000 but it is a goal and time to move forward.

    Happy Sunday!

I have no idea where I am with goals, I set the dial to vacation around Thursday. I went out of town for only one night, but had a good four days of eating to show for it. I have some lost ground to regain.

My niece's wedding finally happened! I wore the dress I went on about a few weeks ago and I felt really good. TBH, looking at photos it looks like it's a little snugger than it's probably supposed to fit across the chest and waist, like the seams are really being put to work - it is at least one size smaller than I really am (they didn't have other sizes in stock when I bought it). But, it didn't feel tight and I was comfortable and confident. I even took off the little shrug I bought and went with bare arms, which is all new for me until recently.

Anyway, more importantly, it was a beautiful wedding and the bride and groom are very happy. There was no drama or anything negative at all - I spent some time before the trip stressing over what-ifs but it was great.

@forestrose910 Thanks for advice on the calories. I'm really going to need a good plan, and you're right, it's hard to go back down. Nice work this week with your steps and calories! And for being ready to increase your step goal!

    Hello Warriors!!

Sorry I was not around more, but I was here in spirit. I struggled getting back in WW mode but by the end of the week I was there. Went grocery shopping last night to get fruit which is zero points. Had some last night and woke up this morning ans was down 3 pounds. I know I had a lot of sodium Friday and Saturday at graduation parties so it was not from Sunday. Sunday was a sodium flush day. I only hit my step goal one day and I did hit sleep goal 3 days so that was good! I was down so I will take it since I have been gaining each week overall. I had a great visit with my Dad -- made him dinner and he really enjoyed it. He is still eating well and that is a blessing.

@forestrose910 - good job on goals!! 6000 is a good goal. I always increased by 500 on my fitbit. Those 1000 are very daunting at times :) Have you hit 5500 at all. If you think 5500 is too easy than by all means go for the gusto, you can do it!

@cjsacto - You looked beautiful and dress was a perfect fit. No one knew it was tight but you. Actually it was supposed to be fitted on the top anyways so it was all good. So glad you had a wonderful time and there was NO drama! lol That is so important.... With family that is an accomplishment right there. You will get those few pounds off. You have to live and this was a grand occasion you had been looking forward too. Now back to life

The new thread is up! Have a great week!! :)B)

Hi Molly- Progress not perfection so you did well to improve. I know you can keep it going this week. glad your Dad is still eating well. thanks also for your support. I have done 5500 to 6000 last week with only 1 day lower than 5500. so 6000 it is.

Cjsacto- so happy for you that the wedding went well. I know you looked beautiful and felt wonderful. that is due to all of your hard work. thanks so very much for all of you support.
    Goals- as of Sunday
    1. Steps over 5,000 - 7/7
    2. food in green - 7/7
    3. workout 3 times 3/3
