    I thought it was and looked disgusting. I saw the story on NBC news last night. It is bad. Have you read about tilapia? That sucks too. I will not eat those frankenfish any longer. only wild caught.

    I saw this a few days ago. I'm super excited about this, actually. This is just another small step toward Star Trek-like replicators. I can hardly wait.

    They use beetroot juice to make it look like meat and then add oil to make it fatty! Arrghhhh I will NEVER eat this.

    They're saying it could end poverty and starvation in the third world - or you could just give them a herd of cows which will breed and who's milk you can drink.

    When I saw the news I was deeply saddened. More chemicals for people to inject into their bodies and cause sickness. What is this world coming to? :(

    I argued with a coworker about this just yesterday. "but it'll feed poor," he says. I wanted to slap him! It has little to do with feeding the poor, it’s all about profit, the rich continues to get richer, and at who’s expense?!? DISGUSTING humans!!

    Yeah, cuz messing with nature is so good for the environment. (FYI I live in the Arctic and there is currently NOTHING abnormal happening at all. The polar bears and seals are doing better than ever. The media is following an agenda of misinformation.)

    Edit: If one wants to really get freaked out do some research into "weather modification experiments". If there is a threat to the climate it's from that crap. It's been going on around the world since the 1950s. Yup, humans intentionally messing with weather and climate. Brilliant. What can possibly go wrong?

    Yup. And it was the Green Revolution combined with WTO policies that have created, and are increasing, starvation and poverty. GMO is not to feed the poor, lab meat is not to feed the poor. It is all to control the food supply and keep us sick and stupid. Sick and stupid people are excellent for corporate profits. And when there are too many of us and profits are no longer the primary focus due to scarcity of resources, whoever controls the food supply will control who lives or dies. Yup, it sounds like crazy sci fi. Too bad it's true.
