On July 7th I had a loss at about 5 weeks and my OB wanted to see me on the 2nd nd run some blood work. Despite being on 150 mcg of Levi my TSH was 8.6 and my T4 was 0.83.

So sorry to hear this. I don't know what to say in you time of loss. I cannot understang the heartbreak you must feel.
I am stressed and worried that I might go through the same thing. My doctor just keeps increasing my Synthroid higher and higher. I just got bumped to 200 mcg because my TSH was 6.65. The doctor is reluctant to keep increasing it and has told me that she will send me to a specialist if my labs don't work out, but then she increased it. I understand the frustration!0 -
So sorry for your loss. I hope your doctor can get you some answers soon.
Have they checked your Free T3 and Reverse T3 levels as well? There may be a conversion problem or something related causing your TSH to remain high.0 -
I urge both of you to push with your doctors to have them test your T3 in addition to the T4 and TSH tests. It is a more expensive test so the docs usually don't order it, but if you are both constantly having your throid medication upped and the numbers are not changing, then you may also need a T3 medication in addition or be changed to a dessicated thyroid medication.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss! Please know our thoughts are with you during this difficult time.0 -
