A whoosh already?

hi
started low carb on June 9th and my bathroom scale promptly broke! I am now on day 11 and all I have done for the last 2 days is run to the loo - seriously, as soon as I get back, I'm thinking that I should go again soon
Can this be a whoosh already? I weighed at a local chemist shop on Monday and knew I'd lost a couple of pounds but can I expect more when I buy new scales this weekend? I wasn't expecting drastic weight loss as I have switched from calorie counting to low carb, so was already running at a deficit most days.
BTW, I feel great and it has been much nicer to switch than I expected. I realise that I might need to tweak a few things to get the best results, and I am looking forward to the energy surge that comes with Low Carb once your body adjusts but I am definitely feeling positive results already.
Thanks for your time and apologies for the first in probably many questions x

Yes. Water weight loss.
And it will slow. Fat loss generally (in most people but certainly not all) averages 1 or 2 pounds per week. Some of that depends on how much adipose (body fat) one has to begin with.
And weighing on your own scale might result a weight difference than the weight at the pharmacy. I'll suggest if/when you buy a scale, just use that one as a guide/baseline and go from there. If you don't buy one and want to weigh yourself, use the one at the chemist's and try to weight the same time of day in similar weight clothing.1 -
I was eating at a calorie deficit for two months and then promptly lost 10lbs the first week that I was on Keto. Water weight. I evened out the next week and the scale showed no loss, and now that I'm at the 3 week loss I've lost another pound. I keep track of my calorie deficit and I'm pretty on track according to that. There are a lot of benefits to low carb/keto, but you still need to be in a calorie deficit to lose.2
