Thanks to everyone who volunteered and participated in the June Living the Lifestyle (LTL) thread. If you get and / or share ideas from the LTL thread; if it helps you along the way, please help out by taking responsibility for posing the LTL question for one of the weekdays each week in the month of July.

Indicate your day of choice and I'll put the final template together before 7/1.

Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately, July has shaped up to be our busiest month this year. I will be working a lot of hours, and I'll be crossing shifts - plus traveling. Otherwise, I would volunteer. I should be available in August.

But, I hope some of the rest of you will volunteer. Coming up with the questions are a good method of staying mindful about your eating. And, new blood is always a good thing. I know there are a lot of lurkers out there. Come in from the shadows and help shed some light on this journey.

What you say may be just what someone else needs to hear.

Is this the beginning of the end for LTL?
I have taken my turns and others but it seems to be difficult to get volunteers.

    1. Do we need a summer break for July?

    Question for MFP GoaDs
Do you look at Facebook pages for GoaDies and WW Bros?

I noticed some old timer GoaDies are there (Geno for one)

You may want to see just for curiosity.
I know @minimyzeme post on WW Connect like me. I know Connect does not appeal to many but just trying to let others know there may be something if others want to see.

Gotta admit, I'm frustrated with LTL. I appreciate the participation of everyone who does so but it seems like pulling teeth sometimes to get others outside the usual cast of characters to actually join us.

LTL was one of the threads that helped me immensely when I started and I still get something out of it. However, just by the nature of its few participants these days, honestly it's not as provocative, fresh or helpful as it once was to me.

I'm fine with trying to organize it for a while longer, but I'm losing "motivation" to try to keep it going unless we can round out the participation. I feel even with our currently small numbers, we have enough people on GOAD to keep LTL fresh and interesting without the same people having to take point each month.

If it will help out, I can cover the next two Thursdays (5th and 12th), but I am out of country after that. If I find decent internet coverage, I could cover the last two also, but no promises on that.

So if we were to take a summer break it might effect others like it has me and have a gain of 45 lbs. Consistency and awareness is so important. Priorities with weight loss or maintenance is so important to all of us. I really don't have time to think up topics but it's mainly because I've been at this daily around 8+ years and it seems like I've heard many topics repeated over and over. It's still worth the efforts of each day to keep this LTL alive. @Jimb376mfp I would almost like to agree with you that a few MFP folks should step up to the plate. Just don't know if that will happen.

Thanks for the input everyone. @savignr , that'd be awesome if you took at least a couple Thursdays--thanks! @whathapnd , @88olds and @imastar2 , thanks for helping out again. Maybe we can get a couple others to jump in.

Derrick ( @imastar2 ), you raise a good point--and you've been here a lot longer than me--about repetition. However, I'm not sure it's necessarily a bad or boring thing. I've changed over time. My responses or reaction to given topics is probably different today than a year ago or when I first started. Maybe others are similar.

GOAD and LTL were absolutely crucial to me learning tips and techniques and the realities of weigh management over the long haul. Maybe this is sort of like weight management in itself: the only way it really "fails" is walking away from it...
