Hello, I've been on a low carb diet for quite awhile. I do stray from it from time to time, and I struggle with compulsive eating, but lately I seem to be more on point and in the right mind set. It's a struggle and there is conflict with the people around me, but they can all get bent. Haters, the lot of them! It's been slow but I've lost over 30 lbs.

    Hello and welcome! Compulsive eating isn't usually just about the food... have you maybe considered some professional counselling to deal with other issues? Glad you are in the right mind set for this... perhaps the people around you will soon be able to acknowledge your 30 lb loss, but if not, get rid of the toxicity by finding new, more supportive friends. :)

    @deaddawn 30 pounds is awesome and welcome. I was LCHF for a good while before I really started understanding it so don't expect non LCHF folks to get it. Best of continue success.

    Welcome to the group. And congratulations on your success so far. It sounds like what you are doing is working well for you. :) Hopefully those around you will become more supportive as they see your weight and health improve.
