I've recently returned from a work trip to South Africa. I must say I was quite impressed (as a Slow carber) with my options there. Many restaurants we frequented offered "low carb bread" as a general menu offering (as well as gluten free, and often gluten free and low carb). One place even had "low GI" croutons listed with the salad. I had low carb avocado toast. I had a nice cauliflower crust pizza. Very easy to be me there.
