Weight immediately after lap band?

How did I come home from the hospital weighing 10 lbs more? How much does this lap band weigh? I am down 4 lbs now but seriously? I really expected to be the same weight at least!

I didnt have a lap band but I came home from the hospital after gastric bypass up about 5 lbs (I was only there for 24 hours) but during surgery they fill you with gas, your body is stressed and more sedetary so you might retain fluid your on an IV for one or two days, but it still sucks to the scale go up that much!!!1

Thanks! It just seemed crazy. I know I had IV but thought I had matched output to input. My stomach is distended still.1
