@Just_Ceci :
Sorry about your streak, but you can go in to QAnd A and have it set back to your last date so you don’t start at zero again. Just thought you might want to know. It does not seem fair to lose all those years. I lost two years due to my WiFi going down a long time ago and someone told me how to reset my streak.0 -

I just put the cone of shame on Elvis!

Awww, poor Elvis.
Well yesterday I didn't walk much at all (1 mile and even that was hard to fit in) but Monday was better. Added 4.75 miles for an August total of 18.25 miles.
Off to the chiro and then a walk. My classes aren't until late this afternoon and late this evening today. Teaching so late at night can be tough but with students all over the US, we need to be flexible.
Have a great Tuesday!1 -

I've decided to just not worry about it. I would much rather have lost my streak due to some exotic vacation with no internet, but getting caught up in family time was as good excuse as any other!

Since being on I've logged 14.5 miles. (9.5 from walking & 5 from the bike) Its hot here & by the weekend we are going to be in the hundreds with 20+ mph winds. It makes harvesting almost unbearable! I want to get riding bike more in the evenings but its still above 80* at 8-9 o'clock. My softball games went well! Even the opponents said I still have it! LOL

@VHUBER - Those are really tough conditions to work out in! Good for you for still getting it done! :drinker:
@KAR328 - I don't know what it is, but wildlife sure is attracted to you!
I got out for a quick, but steamy 1.5 mile walk this afternoon.
Try to stay cool everyone!

It always beats a treadmill. Also had a rabbit run across my path, hopefully it doesn't mean bad luck like a black cat. One time there used to be a black cat around the lake closer to me, I'd twist around so I wouldn't cause him to run straight across my path. Not taking any chances. One other time, something the size of a bear cub and brown fell out of a high tree, I only saw it out of the corner of my eye. There are no bears around here and nothing ran out. I chalked it up to a mini Bigfoot sighting. Then there was the mini lobster a few weeks ago, it was the weirdest thing to see a crawfish on the path - questioned my sanity until I got closer.
Always beats a treadmill.

HOT out today. Took my "fat" dog to the vet. He's been really scratching his side. They ran blood tests & put him on an allergy medication. Hope it works. Had to leave at 7:30 this morning & didn't get back home till almost noon & the temp was already 91*. Rode my ex bike in air conditioning for 16.5 miles.
