I have seen most recipes use bacon, hamburger or some type of meat. Is anyone a pescaterian and on the keto diet? I am struggling. 1st day and ready to quit.😥

I could do it I think, but I would be eating a lot of fish. It is a great protein source. I am also very fond of canned salmon for lunch.
Do you eat dairy? That would give you a cheese option. I will have a tin of sardines and two cheese sticks for a meal sometimes.
One of the "features" of the keto diet for me is that I don't have a lot of wild variety in what I eat, but I appreciate the simplicity and am lazy when it comes to food preparation.1 -
It is the lack of carbohydrates that result ketosis. Just keep your carbs low enough.2

Yes, I started vegan keto, it can totally be done. It's a bit more work in the food prep area, and it's much harder to find good options eating out, but it's quite possible to stick with it!

Starting out, if there's not a super critical reason to go keto immediately (mine was migraines), then I would recommend starting slow. Start with a carb limit of 150 for a week...then work it down to 100...then work it down to whatever your end goal is. That will give you some time to try some new keto meals, while still making it convenient to eat a few meal more similar to what you already eat. Might make the transition less frustrating, particularly since your food choices are going to be more limited than standard keto.1 -

I think that this is great advice. I researched Keto for two months before starting. Jumping in without having any idea what you are in for is a recipe for disaster. Especially in the beginning, Keto takes a ton of planning and there is a pretty significant learning curve. I think that especially for you as a pescitarian, that starting slow would be your best bet.1 -
I'm just reminded of the saying 'there are plenty of fish in the sea!' you should be fine!3
