    144.6 this morning at 6:00. Ronan did really well yesterday. Was crazy happy to see hi Grandpa...walked right past his Grandma into Grandpa's arms! Happens all the time. They are such good buddies.G'pa explains everything, just like his mom. Ordered him some tank tops yesterday and shoes...again...having trouble with size. My 6inches is different than the seller's 6 inches. Ronan has several pair he can grow into. Okay...gotta go. Walking w/DH this morning.

    Slugged down water and pain pills before getting on the scale. I know the # is not going to be pretty. Shot tomorrow. Cross your fingers it works. Ronan is doing great! Walking w/DH in a bit.

    136.2 today. So I lost the couple of ponds I picked up during our travels last week. Now, I have to buckle down to get into 135s!

    Ronan reminds me of my daughter. She broke her arm around 5 or 6 and had a big cast too!

    Didn't weigh this morning. Shot went well. Doc decided to give shot for leg pain that was/is worse than the back pain. We'll see if it works. Should take a couple of days at the most. I'll let you know how tomorrow morning goes. Still on all my meds tho.

    Clara, we were all so surprised at the huge cast but couldn't come up with any other way they would do it.

    Walking tomorrow morning. See our trainer on Wednesday.

    145.0 this morning at 6:00. back on track today. The pain i my legs is much, much better...not gone but better. Instead of shooting pain from my fanny to my toes, my calves are sore and my toes tingle.Hoping tomorrow is even better.

    Walking in a few mins w/DH. Shopping...good plan!

    153 again, but I walked an hour-and-half of hills yesterday and a half hour from the auto shop to work (and back) today. So the metabolism is rev'd. Should break the plateau.

    175.2 this morning. I’m still here but very busy with work now. It’s fiscal year end and I work n finance. But my Bff and I spent 6 days at Atlantis in Nassau to celebrate her birthday. Another of our close friends came as well. Beautiful resort, we had a great time and I feel a little reenergized.ready to lose those last 25 poundstone and strengthen.
    I need to have a good September despite a busy work month.

    I added a new profile picture of my friends and I in Nassau at a festival called Junkanoo. We had a blast that evening. Yes that is a man on stilts behind us.

    Good to be back ladies!

    Kathy, We're all trolls! I'm in Finance too, and so was Chris before she left it for the wonderful world of retirement and grandsons.

    154.5 this morning, it must be in my gut or wet hair. I haven't been overeating, so it sure as heck isn't fat!

    Bwahaahah! That made my morning, Paula!

    144.6 this morning at 6:00. Today begins 29 days of good eating. A NO TRIGGER OR JUNK FOOD SEPTEMBER. I am up 10 pounds.

    Hmmmm....this could be part of the reason...

    We went to the Scottish Festival yesterday...can you say...meat pies...short bread cookies...some other dessert that I can't remember it's name? We had a ball w/Ronan and the bag pipe players...drums, etc! SIL played in the first rugby game, so we got to park really close to the gate...cool beans! By the time we left, the lines for the meat pies were SOOOOO long...so, as much as I really dislike rugby, I sent up a big THANK YOU!! to the rugby gods for having to be there so early that our line was really short and another THANK YOU to the meat pie & dessert gods that they are all so far away I only get to visit them once a year!

    153 - losing weight again; but this is an increase from last week; so I definitely gained something. It's either poor guesstimates of egg salad quantities - or muscle (getting some good workouts this week).

    Two hours cleaning garage again today, but I'm going to do the workout too tonight. My body just loves all this abuse. Am I getting an endorphin rush again (finally)?!?!?!

    Looks like Shelley's busy. I sent her some shells, but since she's AWOL, she probably won't know until they land on her doorstep (hopefully Tuesday).

    Take care, enjoy the three-day weekend [even though yours is a 365-day weekend ((jealous))].

    Hahaha! Yes, I love my 356 day weekend! Get to workout w/DDD this morning. She's bring Ronan over and our trainer is meeting us here. She's so good to us.

    Yes, I was wondering where Shelley got off to. She'll be back.

    Walking w/DH in a few mins. The cortisone shot seems to be helping. It takes a little while in the morning to get rid of the "night" pain, but then the days are much better. Back pain is still there. We'll see what the docs say about it and more shots. Emailed both of them last night.

    Gotta go.

    I heard from Shell, she is crazy busy but has finished the wedding cake. :)

    153 for the third day in a row, but it feels really good.

    When I originally got to goal, some parts of me were gaunt and other lumpy. This time (well, I'm 10# away but...) everything is more evenly distributed and clothes fit better.

    I probably should stop losing, because I've got about the right amount of fat and some boobs still. But I've got this 145 number in my head. And a part of me is playing with the idea of skin removal surgery, and I don't want to do that to tighten everything and then lose weight and loosen everything again.

    So, if I stay 150-155, I will be quite content. It looks good on me, all my clothes fit again, and it's healthy.

    If I can drop into 145-150, it would be interesting to see if that is still healthy too.

    Okay, my feeling is if 145-150 does not look good, you know how to get back to 150-155...right? If you have the skin removal surgery, how much will that make a difference in your weight?

    September will be a good month for us!

    Deliberately gaining weight would be a new experience, I'm sure I could learn. :laugh: Skin removal would probably be 5-10#, I don't have a lot.
    Finished cleaning the garage. Derek was pleased. We talked about how his friend (who is legally separated from his wife) wouldn't have a place to stay if his girlfriend got mad. I should've kept my mouth shut instead of saying, "like me if you got mad." :ohwell:

    Chris I hope Ronan is doing better. That cast will build up his little muscles. It is HUGE!

    My daughter had her surgery this morning. And is resting at home now. I can't believe how fast they send folks home these days.

    So glad to be back and read everyone's post. Nice to catch up. My weight went up a little. Must have been all that darn cake!
