Weigh-in #1: 236.6

A positive thought: I’m rejoicing in any pound or tenth thereof that comes off.
A healthy snack/meal: Protein wraps with sour cream, cheese, turkey breast, and spinach, with carrots (my “working lunch”). Also got three tubs of discounted Fage 0%, the consistency of which reminds me of my German curds.
My most effective workout this week was: Body cycle.
Comments: After the kind of gooey Rocky Road, I got back my fav, Almond Pistachio ice cream. I noticed its sweetness and richness from milk fat that accounts for more calories. I am looking into making my own ice cream.

Back from holiday. I set my calories to maintenance with the best intentions...but there was wine, and pub dinners, and saffron buns, and scones, and clotted cream, and pasties, and ice cream, and more wine, and chocolate... I went over maintenance by a good chunk nearly every day, but I did log every day!
I was 4lb up on Sunday morning, 2lb of water etc already gone.
Effective workout: a 16.3km completely flat bike ride, a 4.4km green grade mountain bike track (basically flat!) plus 3 times round a ‘skills track’, and lots of walking.1 -

Finally moving down again! I really must make my mini goal of 9 more pounds for my insurance wellness appointment in the beginning of October. Not receiving the discount is costing me about $100/month. After that, I will be content with the slower as it goes (if that's how it continues).

Oh wow. Saving that much a month would definitely be motivation enough for me. You can do this!!!!1 -

Comments: well I’m done with my long distance move. Still need to get settled in an apartment while we build our new place but you know, baby steps. Super big thanks to SE for jumping in and covering for me as leader these last couple of weeks. Good news is even though I ate a lot of junk, I’m only up a couple of pounds. I’m going to hop back on the keto bus once we are in the apartment and I’m sure it will drop off, but I have revised my summer goal to just maintaining for now.

I'm finally embarking on a much, much needed one-week vacation (still in searing heat but by the water) and won't be able to weigh in on Monday. I was at 231.4 lbs this morning! I think the emotional catharsis of this decision already took some stress-based water off my body.0

Comments:
So tired. I just signed a lease yesterday and I've had a busy week. I'm behind on paperwork so I'm going to be bringing work home this weekend. T_T I don't like to bring work home, but it's unavoidable this weekend.
And yay Smithsonian Empress for minoring in Spanish! My Spanish is mostly from my high school classes years ago, but I'm using it for work now on a regular basis so I'm getting lots of practice. I got told I had a Puerto Rican accent on Wednesday, lol. Talking about things that could have happened or things that might happen still trips me up though.2
