We all have a body part we are unhappy with. I'm not happy with my thighs either. It's where all my fat gets stored. Exercise has helped them some, but it can't change my genetics or structure. I had to learn to accept that. The best thing you can do for yourself is to start appreciating your body for what it can do now while you are young. You will save yourself years of heartache. I know it's not an easy transition.
Start a gratitude journal just devoted to your body. Every night, write at least one entry for something about your body you are thankful for. Overtime you can expand your gratitude to other areas of your life. You'd be amazed at how it can change your outlook.
Examples of some of mine would be:- I'm grateful I have enough body fat to allow me to be a mother
- I'm grateful my small breasts were able to nourish two children
- I'm grateful my large thighs allow me to carry my teenage boys on my shoulders
- I'm grateful my arms were thin enough to grab dry erase marker my co-worker dropped into a crack.
- I'm grateful my knees allow me to bend and pick up things
- I'm grateful I have enough mobility in my shoulders to scratch my back
- I'm grateful my body is strong enough to do cool tricks
- I'm grateful my arms and back are strong enough to pull me up over a ledge if I ever fell off.
You get the drift....

I agree with mom23mango that we all have part of our body (or everything on it for some) and we need to learn how to love and respect ourselves better. It’s very hard when being constantly bombarded with marketing standards of beauty.
My question to you is what don’t you like about them and why? What makes them substandard to you?
As far as exercising, let’s be honest, nobody has time for what we don’t like, it’s a matter of priority. Find something you like or find something you can do during your usual idle time or while studying. I didn’t like exercising as a teen because I was not athletic, I now learned you don’t need to be athletic or into any sports to be active. I try to take more steps in my day, take the stairs as much as I can... you may also benefit out of doing a set of squats or lunges everytime you use the bathroom. Be creative!4 -
I must be genetically related to a pear, because all of my weight is in my butt and thighs. I'm working on lowering my body fat and could care less about weight or pants size. A healthy booty is beautiful if you take care of it0

Mom23mangos, I love your response! Thank you! I wish I had adopted such an attitude at a younger age.1
