This is my 2nd time doing dirty keto. Stopped 1st back in April. I am in my 2nd week, I am in Ketosis, I am staying within all my macros, drink 100 oz of water a day. So with that being said...
Why are my hands swollen, feel very heavy in my stomach, and have only lost .6 lbs since Monday. With all the peeing Im doing you would think I should be feeling pretty good. I dont remember this when I first started the last time.

How do you define "dirty keto"? I've read many definitions/interpretations. What measurement device are you using that indicates you are in ketosis?0

I dont read and watch ingredients. I keep my net count under 20. I bought ketone strips just to see the 1st month or so if Im in ketosis or not.0

Could the time of month be a factor? For me, that's my first thing to look at when I'm randomly retaining a bunch of water.
Also, are you getting extra salt to offset the keto triggered water loss?0 -
Not time of month and as for salt, not over indulging in it.0

You will hold water when sodium is low.
Not only do you need to over indulge in it, you should be literally swallowing 1/4 to 1/2 tsp coarse salt 3-4 times a day.
Your body will hold water in your interstitial tissues to get it out of your blood to increase blood sodium concentration.
It cannot release that water without further depleting your sodium levels.
This is actually very important and could land you in the hospital.
You NEED salt. A lot of it actually.
Are you having leg/foot cramps, headaches, dizziness or constipation? The frequent urination is already another symptom as well.5 -

Hm, didn't realize that. No leg cramps or headaches, but constipated yes, and Im having stomach cramps like PMS, but its not that.
