    7th week- My progress really slowed this week and I actually was more consistent with exercising. I am wondering if it is normal to initially gain weight when you start exercising more. It's hard when you are doing everything right and are not seeing the losses you expect... Just got to keep at it. No giving up this time around ๐Ÿ™‚๐Ÿ’ช

    Totally normal when you increase exercise to gain a little water weight, it can hang on for a couple of weeks too. Also worth noting that because you've only around 20lbs until you're in a healthy weight range, your losses are probably going to be slower than you want anyway, you can expect to lose maybe 0.5lbs per week after the initial water weight drop.

    Back from a two week holiday and straight back to it... pleased with the 1lb lost since the pre holiday weigh in. Yeah!

    Starting weight: 175lbs (17 March 2017)

    Really annoyed with myself this week. For some reason, I sabotage myself after doing really well. This week was supposed to be staying on track, but instead, I had a rough emotional week and ate and didn't care. I'm glad that at least I'm back down to 150 from 151.6, earlier this week. But gotta learn better stress management than eating, lol! Here's to a new month with only good changes to come!

    @MegansMom2011 try not to get caught up in the short term :smile: how many times have you gotten down about one week's weigh in only to have lost a great amount over the month. BIG PICTURE! :smile:

    Edit: For the record you're 4.8lbs down on your end of July weigh in - I think that's far from sabotage! :wink:

    Haha! You've known me too long now, lol! Yes, I do that all the time. Definitely gotta work on seeing the big picture. Thanks for the update!
