I borrowed this from a good friend. I hope she doesn't mind.

30 Jumping jacks
15 lunges - right leg
15 squats
10 pushups
5 burpees or 3-1 minute wall sits
1 minute wall sit (skip if done above)
30 jumping jacks
15 lunges, left leg
30 seconds mountain climbers
15 squats
10 pushups
20 high knees
1 minute plank

Modify where necessary. Don't over do it.

Walking instead of these exercises counts, too. Go Girls!!!

Let us know what you think.

I moved my TRX to the back of the door to the garage and posted this workout on the door. So now my workout "room" is the rug just inside the door. It actually works really well, the rug provides traction.

Did the workout tonight (Tuesday): TRX-modified and 5x0burpees.

Paula, that sounds perfect! I think I've said this before, but I would love to get rid of our couches and dinning table and turn our living room into a gym. I can't seem to talk anybody into it. I would give up part of it for Ronan and his cars, however.

Good job on the workout. Walking in 10 mins.

Chris, having cars underfoot could make for some interesting exercises.

I did some serious walking yesterday and today. Counting them as aerobics days. Back to workout Friday.

My workout today was cleaning out the spare bedroom so I don't have to keep sleeping on the couch  I'm covered in a light coat of salt (evaporated sweat) and sore, so it must have worked.

Trying to talk Derek into walking up the (rather steep) hill tomorrow. My calves need a stretch.

Enjoying this workout on the TRX. Find I can do proper high steps & jumping jacks if I stand in a corner of the kitchen and brace my hands on the counters beside me. I can actually bounce!

WOW! Shelley! That looks like a huge cake! What was their theme? and were the rocks really candy? Have you been doing this a long time? I also see cupcakes! I'm so impressed!

Bouncing Paula! That is your new nickname! Just kidding. :p

Chris they are candy rocks. The bear and the other critters were made by Sanara with a 3D printer and then we painted them. The cake was done with 6 mixes and one in the cupcakes. I have not done anything like this in over 20 years. Gave it up. They love to hike. Backpacking to be exact. So it suited them perfectly. I did it all in buttercream frosting. So much more tasty that way. The bottom layer is 12 inches. Then 10 and the top is 8 inches. Angie wanted cupcakes. So they were a last minute addition. All in all it was lots of fun.

Thanks Paula for showing this to everyone.

Got in my workout this morning. Ran through it twice with some other exercises also. Wish I could bounce while doing it. Wait, burpees make me bounce!

We got 2 miles into our walk and had to turn around. I have bruised my heel and MAN!! does it hurt! So, I am off walking for 1 to 3 weeks until it is completely healed. Nasty stuff. Could be from walking bare foot on our stone floor...wearing flip flops...stepping on a rock...who knows? Egads! I'll have to kick up my workouts then. I got a Complete Guide to TRX Suspension Training...looks like fun. Well, I think I'll go join DH for a nap.

    Back later, my friends.

Came home exhausted Thursday and fell asleep on the couch (my old sleeping place) and am waking up now at 3:00 in the morning. Will take this opportunity to do the workout and take a shower. Chances are good I won't go back to sleep before work, oh well. :ohwell:

    Continue the workout another week.

Did 15 miles in 64 mins on the bike yesterday. Not as fast as I could have gone, but it's been a long time since Ive gotten on it. Got my foot up on a side table and me keyboard on my lap! Keeping my bruised heel up! Getting on the bike shortly.

used to love to dance, but derek doesn't dance and dancing with someone else would've felt weird. So haven't danced in almost thirty years. Went to a dance party last night and found out this old body doesn't have what it used to have. To bed cold, sore and depressed around 11pm, woke up 9am feeling better (but sore). Tylenol for breakfast.

will do workout again tonight. found out I'm not supposed to bounce to avoid re triggering sciatica, so will modify...

Hope your heal feels better Chris. I hate sore feet. :'(

So no bouncing at all Paula? Funny the things we learn in life. Hope you feel better. Rocky likes to dance some. But he can't dance. No rhythm. So I pretend not to be interested in it. :p;)

Got in our workout. My triceps are sore from weights.

Shelley, it's getting better...icing it a lot. Patrick doesn't dance either. We danced at our wedding reception...the first and last time...some 35 years ago!!!

Yeah, I'm going to be sore after today's workout w/our trainer. :p

Workout sore is good, Chris, bruised foots are not. :noway:

Was reading "how to avoid triggering sciatica" and they talked about not running, not jumping. I'm going to have to talk to my doctor. But for now, walking does fine for aerobics.

Paula I am glad you looked it up. And if walking does not bother it that is even better. Maybe taking some light hand weights on your walks would be good. B)

Chris I am a believer in icing things that hurt. Sure helps me lots. Dancing for me now is Zumba or dancing while cleaning. Love it!

Did upper body today. It felt good. Lots of pushups!

Let's just keep this going. My exercise brain is too grumpy to think of anything new for now. I'll come up with something new for October. Anything you ladies want to work on?

Meeting w/our trainer this afternoon. I so need a hard workout.

Love you guys to the moon and back!!

Chris the moon and back! Aw, how sweet. <3 How is the foot?

Paula I was in the gardens all weekend. Squats and backbends. Now my butt is sore! Ouch! :#

I want a new plant. How about hydrangea?

Hydrangea's are gorgeous, Shell! And it would give you another toy to play with - I think you can make them change from pink to purple to blue by controlling the pH level of the soil. :)

I came home last night and fell asleep on the couch - a potato workout, LOL.
