Once again, this group's discussion and support has helped me a ton. I actually had a chat with my husband about these two things today and we cleared the air a bit. It seems we aren't too far off the same page. I see some traveling in my future again, and I see a possible move to a home on water when I retire. Not out of the question anymore and actually discussed a plan on how to make it happen. I feel so much better. This was bothering me more than I even realized!
If I could throw my arms around you all and give you a big hug, I would!

Our guys love us. Sometimes they just need to know how important it is to us, I guess. My husband is becoming more open to travel, too, it seems

@PackerFanInGB so happy for you. That gives you something to look forward too. Traveling does not have to be this big production. Start around you, places close to home, you will be surprised. I sure do hope you get to move near the water! Fingers crossed for you!

My mom worked for an airline and we traveled a lot when I was younger; Europe, South America, so I try to do the same with my kids. We lived for 5 yrs in Bahamas and the exposure to other cultures is so important, makes you appreciate what you have or want more.
Just for fun if we could all meet and travel together, where would we go? Greece would be my favorite place to see!!

@MadisonMolly2017 I couldn’t agree with you more that traveling opens up your world. My exposure to places other than my own little circle around home was limited, but once my daughter took me out of it I realized how much the rest of the world has to offer. Now if someone says to me “Let’s go to (fill in the blank with anywhere), my response is “when do we leave!? Greece...UK...it’s all good!3

Oh my goodness, I don't know where to start! I have never even thought about going to Greece! I have always wanted to see Ireland, Scotland and Italy...but the UK would be awesome and so would Greece! Isn't that terrible? If I got to take one trip to anywhere in the world, I wouldn't even know where to go! LOL
I'm going to borrow @nebslp's approach and just start saying "When do we leave?!" when people invite me places from now on! Life's just too short... 4 -

From Spain, you can take trains anywhere in Europe. Or a cruise. Oh one can hope!!2
