Tracking. Relentless and brutally honest tracking. None of this start over tomorrow bunk. Yeah that tablespoon of Parmesan cheese is going to put you over, your number yeah the veggie stew tastes pretty plain without it.

Make up your mind, but it’s getting tracked if you eat it.

Yep, tracking is the starting point for me. Everything flows from it

It is usually being honest with tracking and NOT continually going over my calorie budget.

I track weigh, measure but trouble is I am twisted between programs. Smart pts. is healthy eating but my low pt. budget seems to low and I am always going over. MFP. keeps me in my calories allotted but still not losing. WW. PP. was a bit of a struggle to. I like MFP but I feel some how my macros are not stable. I do like taking WW pts. because it is much easier so some where I got lost in the mix.

I really do think this is something that either some or all us face just about any given period or another. I'm not giving up but right now I seem, in my mind to be having trouble buckling down to what I need to do. I can make the greatest and grandest plans about knowing what to do and how to do it and wanting to start now, but lately it just doesn't turn out to be working in my favor. What possible motivation could be missing? I know I have to do it, I know I need to do it, I know how to do it because I've done it before!. In fact I've done it many many times before including on the WW board but this time there's something different.

I wake up in the mornings and really have no intentions of overeating or eating the wrong things but by the end of the day I've crossed over the line in each of those categories. So I'll keep digging and keep my mind on it front and center each and everyday and hopefully keep from doing any additional damage as far as gaining anymore.

It is interesting to see the responses so far.

All else hasn't really failed me yet. That's not a boast so much as a statement that I'm still doing the same thing I did on day 1. Maybe it's an endorsement for tracking? Maybe it's the way I designed my plan to be within my points 90% of the time. I left the other 10% for a buffer, mostly mental. I've gone out of bounds a few times but not for more than a day or two. And not with complete abandon. My commitment to my plan and my objectives don't seem to get too far out of my awareness.

In the past I did new/different diet schemes. So far I can't say that WW has really failed me.

    I eat less.

Tracking is but one tactic to accomplish that feat.
