Has anyone from Canada or the US traveled to Mexico for their surgery? What was your experience? Any advice?

I actually have heard of this and heard of good outcomes, though I do not know anyone personally. I live in Texas, though I am on the Louisiana side, but lived in West Texas for a short, short time many moons ago. Not necessarily a bad idea, but definitely do your research! Very sorry that you are unable to get it done where you are. If it's any consolation, I started my weight loss "journey" in August of 2010 and didn't have my surgery until September 27, 2012. Two years seems like a very long time, but it was VERY worth the wait!!!!0
