Yesterday I painted till afternoon & then we drove to our lake marina for a board meeting that my husband is on. We spent the night in our cabin. The wall heaters came on & off all night cuz it was 32* out & I coughed & coughed ALL night. Ended up going & sleeping in other room so I wouldn't irritate my husband. This morning I cleaned out fridges & DH drained water. Got home & took a nap till the coughing began so I got up & started painting again. Should be able to hang all cupboard doors & drawer fronts in the morning. I used Benjamin Moore Advance paint. I was told I should clean, sand a little, no priming needed & 1 "maybe" 2 coats of Advance paint. I scrubbed, I really sanded, cleaned AGAIN, painted a coat of primer & have had to do 3 & some 4 coats! CRAZY & long!
I did ride ex bike 13 miles while things were drying this evening.

I’m in for 160 this month, sorry I’m late to the party. I have a 2k target for 2016 and I’m at 1612 - I may just make it.
@Janet - I love the Paris story. It happens and is heartwarming... the video made me laugh. That’s me going down stairs most mornings, thank you arthritic knees. Two from my Running Club have London, Manchester and Tokyo in early 2019 .... 12 weeks, and 3 marathons.... fancy working out the tapering for that schedule. Rome will be awesome.
@vhuber - grandkids are the source of ALL infections. No evidence, but I’m positive that is the truth! Take care of yourself and do try to get through this without antibiotics. (I’m sure we all had this conversation with someone last winter)
@sufferlandrian - hahahaha, painting the livestock! Don’t you just love it. On another note, I still don’t envy your shift pattern
@clepant - I wish my DH would do similar. Tinnitus makes both our lives a little miserable. His because he has it from a number of years of foundry working when he first graduated (a few years ago now .) You don’t need to guess why I’m a little . Over the summer he jumped at me saying I was getting a little deaf. I said “No Dear, you’re mumbling”. I got my hearing checked to placate him! Almost perfect hearing, apart from a little degeneration in the high Spectrum in one ear. Even that is below what might be expected of someone as ‘youthful’ as me. Oh how I laughed!!

Loved the video and everyone's comments! So nice to have someone take their time to put the blue coat on you after the race to prepare you for the walk to the car/subway/wherever.

@JTH11706 - I loved the video. I can only imagine trying to go up and down stairs after a marathon! Walking on flat ground would be a challenge, I would think. Good luck on the NYC marathon!
@Just_Ceci - We are still warm too. We will be in the low to mid 90s this week but next Monday, they are predicting our high to be in the low 70s. I'm looking forward to that day!
Not as much movement for me over the weekend as I would have liked. Slept late on Saturday so didn't have as much time for my "long" walk as I needed but I did go out. Yesterday, I woke up at 3:30 a.m. with a bad headache that lasted most of the day. Thankfully, I woke up much better today.
Happy Monday everyone!

Felt a little rough this morning but it was move on to the kitchen day. Got the scrubbing done on the walls, ceiling & cupboards then it was time to remove the top cupboard doors . DH painted them & I painted the doorless cupboards. 6 hrs went by & we were like what?? Where'd the time go? Had dinner, rode ex bike 10 miles & back to do MORE painting!

Disregard the above ticker. I have 20.17 miles so far out of a total of 125.
Messed my ticker up. Hopefully, it will work tomorrow.0 -

Chris - I can't believe you hurt your foot again. You're going to have to take up cycling instead.0
