My first Keto day

I have my food pre-logged, with the exception of two possibilities for lunch. Feeling like this will be a good option for me as I'm sensitive to gluten without being allergic, which leads me to making exceptions (it's ok to eat this as long as I don't eat anything else this week). Instead of a monthly or weekly gluten exception it's turned into several times a week and I'm not feeling very good. I thought keto sounded very similar to gluten free and would be an easy step to take. I'm hoping that having an actual food plan to follow will eliminate the gluten exceptions.

Congrats on starting your first day! Most keto/low carb foods are gluten free by nature. However, just keep in mind that not all gluten free foods are low carb and some are actually higher in carbs so just read the labels. Reducing carbs should help reduce your cravings for those carby glutenous foods.

@nikkit321 welcome to Keto. After 4 years it is still working out for me to regain some of my health. The first 90 days had me reading all of the time to try to figure out this WOE at a personal level. Best of success.

Don't forget you can get gluten through skin/haircare products and cosmetics as well as medication or supplement formulations. And there are low or no carb condiments that have gluten in them such as traditional soy sauce or barley miso etc. Be careful ;)
