:warning: MOD HAT! :warning:
The admins have revamped the guidelines to be more specific and worded in an unambiguous manner.

I'll keep it stickied.
Please review the new Guidelines page when you get the chance. They require groups to uphold the Community Guidelines.
TIA

They look like good guidelines. :) I can see it helping as long as it has been read by those who should read it.

I won the internet - I read it to the end. LOL

Oh I’m so glad, I thought I was a bit odd but I’m not the only one who read the whole thing!

I liked they link you to how to block users. That will come in handy from time to time.

    It can.
I have to admit that I have a few users blocked but I do tend to look at what they post if it is a post right after mine. :D I need to stop doing that. LOL

I don't see anything major from what we've been doing here. Maybe some clarification, but I think we were already on that page anyway. We don't have many problems here. I can think of very few times being a "mod" here has required me to do anything aside from approving new members. Not that we've never had to handle issues, those times are horrible. Fortunately, they are also rare. We have a good group of members who know they are here with a common message/idea and support each other towards that end.

Well, there goes all the 'Fun & Games' threads, and a lot of the 'Chit-Chat' threads too lol. I suppose I should admit to already breaking the rules as I just posted a link on our Ladies 50+ Low Carber Group to a custom sock website where you can get socks printed with your/spouse's/pet's face over top of BACON!

(I also read the whole thing because it's actually short for something of this nature.)

I did get a warning once a long time ago in the main threads when I called deep fried-Oreos "white-trash fair food." Lesson learned. :D

I just need to ask, being a goodie two shoes as well and reading the whole thing (but obviously not a very bright one), if the not advertising thing or linking thing means you can't say eg, 'look at the diet doctor site ot tuit nutrition' which I know I do at times, equally I've followed links that are really interesting which others have posted and I know there are lots in the stickies. I'm guessing this maybe to stop links to paid for stuff but people also post re where to buy things eg keto pasta etc. Just askin' cos I want to know!
