^so today was the worst motivationally. Today was my daughter's 40 day blessing, and the pictures from family threw me into deep dive.
I am sooo much larger than I was for my 1st at the same point. So of course I had to investigate and realize I was already down 23lbs (of 26) last time, and this time I started 6lbs heavier gained 30 and have only lost 17-18lbs. So I'm 15lbs heavier now than then.. but somehow look even more. My knees had faces in the pictures!
This afternoon I was so honored to be asked to be MOH in my BFFs wedding, which she is planning for this summer. So after the pictures/ video I'm realizing there's not even 6 months to go until I'm standing next to 2 cross-fit competitors and a professional dancer. Obviously I'd never be as fit as the group with even more time, but after seeing those pictures I'm just so disheartened about how much slower it's coming off this time. Very demoralizing.
I also didn't really eat today because I was running around and my supply crashed. Just a bad day.2 -

I enjoyed the holidays a little too much! I am down a pound from last week though. Workouts are down to maybe twice a week. I try for more, I got up at 5am today, and so did baby! I do fit into a pair of pants that I did not fit into in Dec.
@karen_thinmint Eek, that is hard. I can't imagine having to take pics next to three fit people. 6 months is a long time and you will probably lose more weight by then, but with a baby at home, you may have to give yourself some grace.0 -
@karen_thinmint Sorry you're having a hard time. Try not to be so hard on yourself, you JUST had a baby. It looks like you're doing great so far at only 6 weeks pp. Hang in there! My numbers should make you feel better, I've only lost 3 lbs and I'm 5 months PP lol!0

Started going to the gym at lunch! It's a little awkward because I get all sweaty and have to go back to work though. But it's fine, I'd rather do that than not work out. I am just doing cardio at the gym and then I have weights at home, although my home gym is not set up yet so I'm just sticking with body weight at the moment.3
