Iron RDA question

I wonder, is it ok to occasionally go over the Iron RDA? I accidently went over already (grabbed the wrong vitamins) and ended up at 120% over the RDA today according to MFP (should be about 22mg of iron I am guessing.)

Should I be worried and or avoid any other foods with Iron in it?

You'll probably be fine! Iron doesn't necessarily fully absorb to the % on MFP. Those who have problems with iron are taking supplements on a consistent basis which can potentially tax the kidneys. It's very hard to overdose on iron with food alone. There are certain things that can mitigate the absorption of iron, such as coffee. If you are truly worried of an overdose, charcoal capsules can absorb ingested matter.

Thanks so much for the advice, and to help me understand it better ! I got a touch worried because I took 18mg with a vitamin, and I eat tons and tons of meat lol.
