Hey guys. I scrolled around the group and have not seen this addressed. Hope MFP improves the search feature one of these days.
Anyway, what is your experience on getting the most from your reps in terms of slow vs fast movements?
Every article I seem to read varies. Explosive concentric and slow eccentric/negatives seems to be the most commonly prescribed way to get the most bang for your buck. However, I read an article last week siting a study that slow concentric and fast eccentric results in max hypertrophy (I have searched for the article/study to link to here but have not found it again).
And of course you will see fast/fast and slow/slow touted as the most beneficial.
As I progress in my lifting I am trying to focus more on mind-muscle connection and not just moving the weight but how I move the weight to get the most out my effort. Any input would be much appreciated.
Thanks!

Tagging. I have seen some articles on this (possibly from Brad Schoenfeld) but need to look for them.
And I agree - I really wish they would improve (or at least provide) a search function for groups. I spend forever trying to find old threads. This topic has not been discussed though (unless I missed it).0 -
I will see if I can find more, but here is a good article..and it was Schoenfeld. It covers a lot of other good stuff also.
