Near Norfolk VA
I was thinking about how many live in real Winter locales.
Mild VA winters here.

    I was born and raised Midwest, mostly lived in winters with REAL winter.
    Lived in Anchorage AK 2010-07 ENOUGH WINTER there.
    Retired 2010 in VA.

    Live in Pleasanton CA in the SF Bay Area (East Bay). We don't do snow. I grew up on Long Island just ouside NYC. Moved to California when I was 24 and don't miss winter weather at al.

    just outside Green Bay (work in downtown GB) but grew up north of Seattle.

    Live in Gainesville Ga just north of Atlanta. Raised in Birmingham Al been a Southern boy all my life. Basically metro Atlanta now. We're at the base of the Appalachian Mtns. Weather changes daily. Ben rainngi all week.

    Lifelong native of the Chicago suburbs. I learned to drive in the late 70s when we had multiple years of record snowfalls.

    Living in metro Houston for the last 19 years. Prior to that, lived in a small town north of Buffalo, other than a five year stint in Chicago. Been in the 30’s here this week, serving as a great reminder that I hate winter.

    Grew up in Chicago burbs. Live in and around Chicago most of my life before moving down here to get away from the winters.

    Born in Jersey City NJ, lived in North Jersey for the next 60 years, then spent 2 winters in Pittsburgh, great city, crappy winters, then retired to Williamsburg Virginia 5 years ago. Winters much milder here!

    Nice grouping of Chicago area folks.

    Back on the WW board, there was a pretty large group of folks in the Oregon Washington area. Several of us got together for lunch and had a great time. Both Gavin and podkey (Bob) were there.
