We are so glad you decide to be with us on the UAC team!!
Let's get to know each other and overcome December, the hardest month of the year to be accountable and to maintain the long-term healthy habits of tracking all your caloric intake: exercise for 20 minutes or more each day; consuming below your goal calorie limit; and reporting in to the UAC team.

December 1
Exercised?: Yes (3km in 24 mins hills).
Calories?: Yes
Tracked?: Yes
Walk after dropping daughter at skating in the evening, just before dusk. Was tired and did not feel like walking, but I knew I needed to. Felt better after walking. Motion creates emotion.
First day of Summer here in Melbourne and it was quite a warm day. Glad I also got a chance to fly.
Congratulations to all who stayed reporting for all of last month (whether you made circle or not). Consistency is the key.
Also congratulation to all who made circle. Shows you can keep consistency.
Thanks lastly to UAC, I did not want to start the month with a pass. Because I feel obliged to report daily and have a policy of full honesty, it helped with the extra push to do what I know I needed to do.11 -
I'll be reporting on how the day went at the end of the day (only noon here right now).
But wanted to say- Congratulations to Winner's Circle people,
- Kudos for all who reported all the way through even if they didn't make the Winners' Circle (new month, new chance) and
- Welcome (Newbies) / Welcome back! (all return players)
This month, my 20+ minutes will still be my mini-trampoline cardio, but I am also adding (bent-knee for now) push-ups and tricep dips one or two times daily and maybe something that will tighten / tone the saggy baggy middle. This take FAR less than 20 minutes per day as the strength level / # reps are pretty low right now. And I dropped my MFP-recommended calorie intake by 20, as I am that much closer to goal than 2 months ago ... thanks to here!10 -
3 x Yes
Spend the day giving back to the community by cooking for our village Christmas fayre cafe, I took my own lunch plus Ginger tea and held my reserve by declining mince pies & whiskey fruit cake14 -
First check-in!
Date: December 1st
Exercised?: Yes, gym in the morning and a lengthy walk to and around a local-ish Christmas market! The food smells were amazing but I had budgeted for a spiced wine and enjoyed the heck out of it
Calories?: Yes
Tracked?: Yes. I've been eyeballing my food for a long time with a fair amount of sucess but I actually enjoy knowing precisely what I ate. Could definitely stand to improve protein intake!13 -

I pulled out my small kitchen scale to make sure I wasn't over estimating. Sure made a difference in the amount of walnuts I ate today vs earlier in the week!

Yes x 3 today thanks to thinking about posting here. I logged food before eating it and left a small cushion for testing the batch of bread I made for my husband (I don't eat bread except for one test per batch - and one batch per week!). I exercised more than just my outdoor haul of groceries up my road on a toboggan (those of you who were here last winter will remember my crazy road we don't open once the snow piles up - a half mile up a very steep hill). So thanks for making me get to the 20 minutes of workout that always feels great once I finally do it. Hope you all did what you needed to do and feel wonderful too!13

Pass - ugh! what a way to start the month. Over the past 7 months I have learned a lot about managing my eating in various situations, but I have not yet mastered eating with control when trying to function on only 3 hours sleep. Oh well - lets see how long I can go before I need to use the next one.12

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes - 1hr 15 minutes (3 X 25 minutes each) on mini-trampoline
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes - did some extra exercise because I wanted a bigger serving of air-popped popcorn for my eve snack ... and also MOSTLY because when I only do about 25 minutes at a stretch(even though it is more than once, and total more than if I did ~45 minutes in one go), it doesn't FEEL like I have done enough!
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes

Personal goals for December:
1. Plan to be in winners circle (track everything as expected in this UAC)
2. Not more than 3 pass days
3. Stay honest (even if it puts me out of the circle for the month)
4. Forgive my mistakes (forgive myself) and don't leave the UAC for this month even if I failed
5. Encourage others where possible.
Looking forward to a successful December!
