    December 4: 2 miles, Burn 30, 15 minutes Firm 30, 1 Walk Blaster
    December 5: 3 Walk Blasters and about 30 minutes walking
    December 6: 60 minutes mall walk waiting for service on my phone to be done
    December 7: 2 miles, Burn 30, Tone Every Zone: Upper Body Circuit & Fast Walk. 1 Walk Blaster
    December 8: 3 miles, Burn Body Fat, 1 Walk Blaster

    December 9: Rest Day
    December 10: 3 Mega Miles, 1 Walk Blaster (cool down & stretching)
    December 11: lighter but busy day with walking while getting errands finished
    December 12: 3 miles, Walking Off the Pounds, 1 Walk Blaster, gazelle
    December 13: 4 miles, 4 Mile Power Walk (used the gazelle and rebounder to do the HIIT segments)

    OK, so clearly I have no idea how to set goals!!! :laugh: I thought this would be a month of wine and grading (not necessarily in that order) and what actually happens, I am on my feet running from here to there all month so I have met my mileage goal already! However, I have not done 30 minutes of focused workouts each day that is for sure as I have had NO TIME! My son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter will be in MI this year and I am running all over to get ready for them and adding up the mileage! 7.5 miles on my Birthday! I do not think I have ever had that distance on my Garmin! Who knew! :noway:

    Deeder LOL I totally forgot you live in Grand Rapids!! We went to the Trans Siberian Orchestra concert for my Birthday and then to Bella Vita Bistro for my birthday dinner. I LOVE that place so much!!! Great food and super service. If it was not for I-69 and it's potholes, it would be a perfect trip! :laugh: Here is hoping Whitmer can fix the d#$%^&*m roads!!!! Mi roads are a mess for sure!! Next time. I'll warn you and stop in! :+1:

    I am impressed with all the strength training going on here, but I agree that the Miracle Miles strength training is not enough. I am a little disappointed in Leslie for not making that clear. She has the Walk It Off in 30 with a full 30 minute strength segment and the Tone Every Zone series so she clearly knows what it takes to build strength. She is one of the few who speaks to people new to fitness and I have been grateful to her for showing me the way and I suspect others are as well. I wish she would stick to that and not market so much.

    All of you are rocking it and all I can seem to do is add up mileage running all over my house! :laugh: Meh-next month, I will be grumpy because my kids are gone and I am back to work right! I'm enjoying December-concerts, rain, snow, shopping, and my children! January will come soon enough!

    I'm still speechless that you have met your goal already and only 16 days in. You will probably have doubled your mileage by 12/31/18! Good point you made about the workouts Leslie has done that are true strength workouts. Like you I believe she is more market driven than she has been in the past. Since strength training is so important as we age, you would think that she would add some solid strength only focused workouts. I was just wondering how old she is. Just found it on the internet so it MUST be true, :wink: She was born in 1962. Maybe her future workouts will move more toward strength, I hope so. I hope I will always want to workout but I am seeing that I have to modify things more and more. But... I'm not ready to give up yet. :D Good work and keep on walking!

    @zichab, I reread your post and realized that you recently had a birthday! Sounds like it was a fun one and you had the extra benefit of getting in a lot of mileage also! Enjoy your family! Especially that precious granddaughter <3 . What a treat for you that they are able to be with you here in the states this time!

    @AnnofB and @zichab, I also I agree that the Miracle Miles strength training segments are so much less than what I hoping for every time that I was able to finally do a new DVD in the set. It had sounded like there was a lot included, especially with using the new band. I like the new band a lot and use it with her older DVDs, but I'm learning that I do need to figure out how to get some some additional, actual weight training in.
