Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Double workout day today -- 3 mile run outside this morning, and 42 minutes of strength training (full body + abs) this afternoon.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes and under
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yep!
Congrats to everyone who made it to the Winner's Circle! What a great feeling to have made it to the end! Thank you, @RangerRickL, for running this amazing group -- it's been so vital to my weight loss so far this month.
@trimi1104 -- got my fingers crossed for you! I'm just coming off a knee injury that happened on New Year's and I couldn't run outside for a few weeks and missed a 5K because of it, so I fully understand. I hope it gets fixed fast!4 -

OMG living in upstate NY I roll with the weather. It snows, it’s cold. But to ride a bike, even if it’s just down the road, your husband is a winner in my book.0 -

Glad you didn't throw in the towel! Just keep on keeping on. It does get easier the longer you stay with it. As your new lifestyle becomes more habitual, it is not such a struggle

Yes x3 today. Cardio workout.
@BMcC9 whereabouts do you live? Saskatchewan gal here so while the -45 temps aren’t fun, they aren’t abnormal. We are a single vehicle family so my husband rides his bike to work even in these temps! Yikes. This morning the cold made his eyes water. But then they started freezing shut so he had to stop at a grocery store to thaw out.
But then, we Canadians know ALLL about the Prairies .... the wind really DOES "come rushing down the plain"! (my mom was born in Regina, and we have relatives out that way) At least you are both well used to it and know what to do / how to cope.
Parts of the US have NOOO idea/experience with this polar vortex effect and my warning post was more for them .... we in Western Ontario / Eastern Quebec (too far north for Great Lakes Effect) get more cold more often than (say) the GTA.
We have had much colder weather & higher windchill the past few years in a row but consequently less snowfall (to the point where the water-table may be affected by lack of snow-melt refilling), but THIS year, very cold AND BIG SNOW at the same time!! (with one day going from "extreme windchill warning to freezing rain to regular rain to overnight windchill warning" within 24 hours.2 -

Thank you!!
I’m thrilled for your success & achieving maintenance!
I continue to be in awe of the intensity of exercise that you do daily - you are inspiring me to greater heights in that regard!
I look forward to joining you (and others) in Maintenance in the next 2-3 months. I have read repeatedly that maintenance is more difficult than weight loss, and I think my fear around that may be what’s triggered the little ups & downs in wt.
But the new close that fit snuggly are helping! I should be joining you maintainers soon!
Thanks again❣️

@MadisonMolly2017 l totally get your feelings re moving into maintenance. I share them!
I just added a few calories this week and will add bit by bit thereafter, checking weight weekly. Otherwise, I am pretty much continuing what I was doing before ... eating the same foods, tracking and exercise.
I will say, it is already easier to stay under calorie allowance2 -
