Here is a vintage winter Sunday photo. Kids wrapped up and a cowboy hat and scarf to keep the snow man warm.
Enjoy your Sunday.

Hi it seems I had disappeared for a while, i let myself overeat everyday & not take care of my health. been stuck in a mental rut but i think things are starting to clear up again. *kitten* happens & trying to explain myself just results in a bunch of excuses. at the moment i just feel overwhelmed trying to stay perfectly accountable and on track to the public, especially as a challenge.
I'll probably return around March, and in the meantime try to get myself "reset" and on a steady path back to my fitness journey.
Y'all are all awesome & strong and I hope y'all are having a great new year! Tough times will pass if you don't let it eat you alive. 💪13 -

January 18 and 19: As I alluded to earlier this week, I needed to take some time to reflect on my goals. Both this time and the last time I was in the UAC, I slimmed down really quickly, both times a little more than I really wanted to. I decided I needed a reset. Didn't track for large portions of both days, so that officially means I'm out of the running for the Winner's Circle.
And I think that's fair, since I'm moving the goalposts a bit in the middle.
I've moved my MFP targets from maintenance to gaining half a pound per week, as I try out a slow bulk. That means in order to gain weight as slowly and safely as I want to without putting on fat too fast, I'll have to keep my calories within a pretty narrow range every day: over the 2020 that would have been maintenance, but under the 2290 target it is giving me now. That'll still fit the parameters of the challenge as we move into February. If anything, it makes tracking everything more important, because that's a narrow 270-calorie window to shoot for.
I'm aiming to run 30 miles next week as my training continues to ramp up. That's a lot of calories to eat back carefully...
January 20, 2019:
EXERCISE: Yes. 2-mile recovery run (12:00/mile) after an 11-miler on Saturday plus 35 minutes of weight lifting.

Tomorrow my 9 year old has an all day outdoor field trip with her class! Brrr! Stay warm all of you in chilly climates and those with warmth and sunshine, please enjoy it for me!4

My mall walking consists of helping my dad with his rehab from his stroke. He walks with a cane and I follow/spot him. When he rests after a round, I power walk in the mall. It has really helped me get more steps in and kept my streak going.3
