I just got out of the hospital on Tuesday. I was in there 8 days with the flu/pnuemonia ...just found out that I am now diabetic ughhhhhhhh ...when it hits ....it hits hard. I hope everyone else is doing good :)

    Goodness! So sorry you’ve been ill! No apologies necessary!! Hopefully you’ll be able to control the diabetes with the low carb!! Many people have! Hugs!

    8 days in the hospital is rough. Sorry about the new diagnosis. At least in the forum you're surrounded by folks with experience with the same and generally good advice.

    These "flu bugs" this year are really bad. I have to go back in the hospital on 1/25 and every notice I get from Duke reinforces their limited visitations due to the influenzas.

    FWIW, I have found the forums to be very helpful with managing T2D. The diagnosis can be discouraging.
