Any advice welcome!

Afternoon! I am a 33 year old who is 5ft 10 and weighs 180lb. I'd say my body type is somewhere between mesomorph and endomorph. My maintenance weight level is approx 2,600. I work in an office but i would say i was fairly active. I try and go to the gym 4 times a week and I also play football at the weekend. (if I don't do that i'll go for a run) I also do Yoga a couple of times a week!
I'm trying to bulk but finding it a real challenge getting the calories in. I'm aiming for around 2,800 calories, with the split being 40/40/20.
MFP is telling me I need 283g of protein a day which i think is way too much, after speaking to a friend I've decided to space out my protein intake to around 30g every 3 hours which means i'll be having 180g of protein a day.
So the questions that i have are.
Is 180g of protein sufficient?
Is it vital i have 2,800 calories? ( I usually fall short by around 500cal!)
