Entering workouts in myfitnesspal

Hey everyone!

When you add your workouts to myfitnesspal, please use the following guidelines for accuracy:

For conditioning portions for the workout, go to “Cardio”, then search for “Circuit Training”. Enter only the minutes it took for the actually workout, and the warmup for high intensity days.

For the strength portion of the workouts, go to “Cardio”, then search “strength training”, again, enter time only for the duration you were lifting.

Example: 1 hour class
5 min explanation
10 min warmup
20 min strength
5min setup 20 min conditioning

I would enter 20 mins of strength training, and 20 minutes of circuit training. If I felt that it was a high intensity day, I may add the warmup into the circuit training (30 mins).

This should make the calories burned more accurate, let us know if you have questions or concerns!
