I was doing really well, down to 203 and then *BANG* my period hit on Sunday. Today, Friday, I'm back up to almost 207. What's with that? I could see gaining/bloating during PMS and my period, but its been over for 2 days (short visits!!) That being said, my jeans are still loose, I still feel good, but I miss my friend the scale. I checked Monday, and I'm still in Ketosis. When is it safe to step back on the scale? I miss the scale.

She's my least favorite aunt. I found that consuming more salt and drinking a lot of water in combo with a good workout really helps. Sometimes takes a couple days of that, though.
I swear she throws off the electrolytes.0 -
We do a challenge every January at work, and when we started, one of the ladies bemoaned her period showing up because of how much it impacted the scale for the week before, week of, and week after. She talked about how she only has really 1.5 "reliable" weeks a month of scale weight. We all poo-pooed her but holy cow she was right. She would share her weekly weigh ins and man. It was no joke.0

I had read to ignore the scale for a full week...and sure enough, 7 days later, the weight starts coming off again. Stupid hormones and stuff0
