Looking for more information on VI/VF

Hello everyone. I just heard about this program and I have looked at the video on the website, as well as some on YouTube on VI/VF, but I am still confused a bit on what exactly I get for my money, and how much money the program actually is.

I don't have access to a gym and do my workouts at home. I mainly have been doing Shaun T programs and have tried some Jillian Michaels ones before, but was bored by here. I love the Shaun T workouts, but would love to add some more to my mix.

When ordering VI/VF, do you get workout videos to use at home? What kind of equipment is needed, if any?

Any more detailed information would be so greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

    Hi there,

The workout can be done at home. It's not a video you pop into the DVD player like a lot of other programs you have used, but about 50% of the VI customers do the workouts from home. Many are raising kids and that is the only way it works for them, or they just prefer to workout at home. The workouts can be downloaded to your PC and phone, each exercise has video examples. Access to the videos requires a login which you get in email with your purchase.

There are some examples of some of the exercises with John Barban here: http://www.youtube.com/user/robertasaum

To start you just need a bench, a variety of dumbbells (you will need heavier for the leg exercises compared to upper body), and a stability ball. An ab wheel is helpful. After that you can get a lot of other ideas from the Venus online community which is quite active.

If you purchase just the workout you get the electronic files for it, plus access to the nutrition calculator (you still need MFP for tracking nutrition). The Venus nutrition calculator takes into account something called a Reverse Taper for nutrition as you get leaner. The manual also includes a fat-loss protocol designed for women and unique hormone issues.

Everything about Venus is not a one size fits all. It is designed to taylor to your own needs and like MFP requires some experimentation on your part, but there is a FRIENDLY community of women to help.

The 30 day trial for immersion includes much more, coaching calls, podcasts, all the workouts for life, everything for life, so is more like a lifetime membership. If you trial for 30 days I would advise listening to as many of the uncensored podcasts as possible as all the other podcasts are free to anyone (even non customers). Only immersion customers have access to the coaching and uncensored podcasts (except the 30 day trial).

That said, I am not a sales and marketing person OR a customer service person. I am merely an author/editor for http://www.venusindex.com/ so I hope I answered your questions. I have nothing to do with the pricing, marketing, or any of that and do not have any answers for how payments are done, etc. I am merely a fitness author and loyal customer who now does a little work for them on the website.

Ro pretty much summed it up!

I will just chime in here and tell you that I started it halfway through July, and I love it! Oh, and I've lost 15 lbs with the program so far.
