How many times to repeat?

I think this was talked about a while ago, but I can't find it. I apologize.
He says you can do the exercises three times instead of two, especially for the first stage. (Like you do A, B, A, B, A, B, THEN increase your weight and do different reps, instead of just A, B, A, B,).
Is this just the first stage? Has anyone done subsequent stages doing them all three times instead of just two? I'm afraid I won't be lifting heavy enough to move on, but I also don't want to program to take forever!

You don't h e to wait to increase your weights. If you don't think you're lifting enough weight, then your not lifting enough weight. Don't be afraid to move in and push your weights.0

ditto - add weight now, don't wait! You've probably underestimated what you can lift by 20% at least!0
