Do you know the average American is far from getting their recommended servings of fruits and vegetables each day? Try using your food log to tally up that you are getting (or getting closer to getting) 5-9 total servings of fruits & vegetables (any combination) each day!

1 serving of fruit = 1/2 of a large fruit (like a banana), a tennis ball size fruit, or a cup of berries or cut up fruit!

1 serving of vegetables = 1 cup raw vegetable or 1/2 cup cooked

Fruits and vegetable help keep us full and satisfied while providing us with vitamins, minerals, fiber, fluids and an array of antioxidants!
