I am not advising anyone stop cancer therapy and just go keto, I know my skin cancer required surgery while keto, but this case study was interesting. It is possible that keto may HELP some people fight cancer.... or better yet, help prevent it

Thanks for sharing - @nvmomketo.
It is nice to see that there is an interest in furthering our understanding of the role of ketogenic diets (in this case paleolithic) ketogenic diets in the treatment of cancer. The link provided, however, is not to a peer-reviewed research article. It is a research poster, which appears to be self-published. The poster provides very minimal information on two cherry-picked case studies.
Posters are often used at academic conferences in lieu of full presentations for early-stage work or in cases where submitted papers are deemed to have some merit but do not currently meet the organization's standards for inclusion on a research panel. Therefore, no conclusions should be drawn from the information presented in this poster. If they haven't already done so, hopefully, the scholars involved will continue their work and submit their study to a peer-reviewed, academic journal. We need to know more about the potential role of keto diet in cancer treatment and prevention.1 -
Absolutely. Nothing is well tested or remotely proven but it could give people an additional avenue to look into if they find themselves in that situation.
I think we are many years away from any answers but I too find it reassuring that that are at least looking into dietary treatments.1 -
They are learning that cancerous tumors thrive on sugar and are beginning to recommend a low carb diet for cancer patients! Why not try to head it off at the pass? I know that Keto hasn’t been a proven prevention, yet, but why not try?2

I agree.
It won't work for all cancers, sone love amino acids and other can use fats, but it does appear to affect many.2 -
I saw one Dr (sorry don't remember name) who reccomends a 7 day fast annually as a cancer preventative because of autophagy.1
