@Dean - how lucky that you have such a wonderful place nearby - does it take you long to access it (I’m aware that for @vhuber - nearby can be 4 hours away)
What can I say - boys, your bikes are pretty :)

I hope you all had an awesome holiday season. This week has been pretty full on. Monday was a national holiday. Tuesday we had one 4 year old grandchildren for 11 hours and the other for 8 hours, Wednesday we had one from waking until 17:30 and the other from 12:00 until 19:30, and Thursday one from 7:00 until 14:00 and the other 12:30 until 16:00. Today ... it’s only one of them from 12:30 until 19:30. Can I say we’re tired!!
My estranged daughter in law also looked me in the eye and told me that my son was selfish expecting her to ask her 64 year old mother (who’s still working) to help support with childcare when she starts a new job in September. It seems we’re ok (at 64 and 65), because we’re retired (unspoken) - my poor fella has not had good health for the past 18 months!! I wish I’d challenged her!!

Lots going on this week! Bikes, bikes, birthdays, and chasing after grandchildren. All good stuff (other than the estranged daughter in law :( ). Some running, walking and biking for me puts me at 76/75. Hooray!

@dean - those pictures are amazing. Thanks for sharing.
    Adding 1 mile.
Running a March of Dimes 5K tomorrow. The hospital I work for and the office raise money for it. The coworkers are walking. I signed up to run. I'm off the clock, I don't need the bonding experience.

3.1 miles. Did the March of Dimes 5K. I was hoping it wasn't hilly since it's in an industrial park but I was wrong. Lots of inclines. Did my usual starting out too fast, but did manage to talk myself out of walking any of it. 30:26, so I'm good with that even though I was hoping it was flat and I could do a sub 30 min race. The coworkers took over an hour to finish the walk. The cranky doctor showed up but didn't walk - conveniently "had a meeting" to go to. Brought her hubby and their mastiff who was really cute. Animals >people anyday.
